I want to first start of with saying I am aware I have problem credit however, I did have a preapproval and a blank check to take to the dealership. I spoke to a salesman through online chat about my situation and specifically mentioned the bank I was approved through and asked if this would be a problem. I was told in all caps that they would be more than willing to help me out with my preapproval of they had another option if I wanted to go that route. I went into the dealership, chose a vehicle and the lies started. The first lie was that tax was going to be $1200, NOBODY in the state of South Carolina can charge more than $300 tax on ANY item. Next up, they were NOT going to work with my preapproval but would be more than happy to use some other program. Through their program, they acted like they were getting me a great deal, it was a total joke. Not only was I lied to and my time was wasted, but I was made to feel like less of a person because of my credit issues. Run away from this place!
