We called the dealership on a frigid winter evening (12/28/17) for 2018 Sienna XLE AWD, sales person mentioned that we have XLE AWD for $39K and she also mentioned that we have 2017 Sienna XLE Premium AWD. We stopped by at the dealership in an hour. Sales rep showed us 2018 XLE Premium van as online sales person mistakenly said that they have 2017 XLE Premum AWD and went for a test drive. We liked the van, during discussions sales rep confirmed that it is 2018 XLE Premium AWD. With all trust on the sales person, we agreed upon believing it is AWD (not verified while test drive), I even signed the contract and drove the van to home at around 10PM with my family with all excitement. next day morning with all excitement, looked the van and shocked that the van is not AWD, immediately called the showroom, luckily I touch based with the same person I spoke with last night and told not to panic and the showroom sales person will correct the error. Walked-in the dealership, sales person shocked for the fact that the van we signed the agreement is FWD instead of AWD. She brought the manager, manager explains with a grumpy face that it is a miss communication and confirmed from me that the I requested AWD and confirmed from sales person that I requested AWD. Finally he says with the same grumpy face that oh... it is a miss communication if you need AWD it costs more than 3K more you want that. With all do respect I said, I cannot put 3K more, so cancel the deals. With out a regret, he says OK lets cancel the deal. I do asked as the dealer ship ran my credit score, he says oh... with one inquire your credit score is not going to affect. After my disappointment thoughts, I requested the sales person to check as not let my family down, I will pay 3K, with a interest rate 0% instead of 1.9% 60M. Manager is busy in a meeting and I left the dealership with total disappointment waiting to receive the call back with good news. After an hour I called the dealership to reach out the sales person, I am still waiting on the call even after 20 min on phone line while I am typing this review.
