Horrible Service

onMy 2010 VW CC Sport has been in the repair shop for nearly month. Erick the service manager lacks customer service skills. Promises call backs and doesnt follow through.i have opened a Customer Care case with VW America. My vehicle stopped running after two days of owning it (cylunder heads need to be machined). Its under the manufacturer warranty so I assume im not a priority.

Hi Klyons85,
Thank you for your feedback. We exchanged voicemails the other day and I've learned more since you brought your concern to my attention. I would like to point out that your vehicle was not purchased at Heritage and was purchased from an independent used car dealer. After running a Carfax Vehicle History Report I see some items that may be of concern to you. I do not know if the independent dealer discloses vehicle history from Carfax as we do with pre-owned vehicles but it shows 3 owners prior to you, a serious lack of maintenance and a prior accident. There are also additional service records on file that shows this vehicle has been in for prior internal engine repairs. This was obviously all prior to your ownership. The service ticket was opened in the name of the independent dealer that towed in the vehicle to us so it was not immediately apparent that you were the current owner. Any repair, warranty of not, is prioritized based on scheduled appointments, available service bays and the skill level of the technician necessary for the repair. Not every technician is trained for major engine repairs like yours and we are also dealing with an outside vendor's i.e. a machine shop, and the time it takes them to turn around a job. You have been provided alternate transportation the entire time the vehicle has been in the shop. We will continue to update you on the status.
