Knox Ford

I recently bought a 2016 Ford Escape SE from Knox Ford. Based on research I did of a number of "local" Ford dealers I chose Knox as my first stop. Turns out that this first stop was the only stop I needed -- beginning with sales rep JR Payne. JR was a very knowledgeable guy with regard to the available inventory and even more so when it came to the specific Escape i chose to take a look at. I came in with a lot of personal knowledge of the vehicle but JR provided me with even more info and was able to answer all of my specific questions concerning the many features of the vehicle. As a sales rep it, of course, was part of his job to be personable and friendly, but his demeanor was more like that of a personal friend and not just someone trying to sell me a vehicle. There was no salesman to customer "pushing and shoving" that is often associated with buying a new car. After answering my questions about the vehicle and the test drive, the rest of the process was smooth, fast and easy---no hours and hours at the dealership like I have experienced when buying vehicles in my past at other places around the country. After being approved for 0% financing, which was better than at my local credit union, I was handed off to Tim the "money guy" and that process was plain and simple and well explained, and I signed all the necessary paperwork and was on my way in no time at all. When I walked out the door with the key to my new Escape in hand, and got in my shiny new vehicle and drove away -- I had a smile on my face because I had my hands on the steering wheel of a great vehicle. I was totally happy with the price I had paid and even more pleased with the experience I had encountered when it came to dealing with the friendly, knowledgeable and competent staff at Knox Ford. Kudos to Knox Ford for a job well done.
