onMy wife took our 2014 Jeep Cherokee in for an oil change. After returning home she said she could smell burning oil. Went outside to check and there was oil on the right front tire, rocker panel and was dripping from the underside of the jeep. I opened the hood and pulled the dip stick and it was dry! Called the service department and was told it has happened before it was a bad rubber seal that was blowing out and Chrysler was aware of the problem, was told to call customer care to get a tow. Customer Care was great had a tow there within 40 min. At the dealership spoke to service manger who stated the problem was the rubber seal they would keep the jeep for a day to make sure nothing was wrong with the engine. I checked with Chrysler guess what, there is NO problem with the rubber seal on the oil filter its the Tech (ha what a joke) who did not remove the old seal before putting the new seal on! Had the service manger told the truth from the start i would not be writing this review. DO NOT take your vehicle to this service department you will not get the truth.
