recall uncovered safety issue

onCame in for recall on 2009 anti-corrosion treatment, surprised but quite pleased that condition of belts was noticed before disintegrating belts caused a big problem--although shocked at price, as I'm old enough to 'remember when...'
As to several questions: would I recommend etc. --I NEVER MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS, EVER, not for anything. As to price, I clicked on "yes" because I know I haven't been keeping abreast of current pricing, was shocked when informed of cost but then was able to use a coupon which lowered cost appreciably. Would have preferred not to have had ANOTHER RECALL--this seems to be endemic for several brands in the past decade, annoying.
