onI worked with Bob Orris to negotiate the purchase of a used S5. As an out of state buyer, via voicemail and e-mail, we settled on an 'out the door tax included' price. When I drove 100 miles to complete the transaction and pick up the car, the General Manager, Stephen Gilligan would not honor the price. The dealership added sales tax on top of the previously agreed upon price. I was offered $250 for my inconvenience. I was told the salesman was new and a contract is not a contract until both parties sign.

Not true that is what you call an express contract and by law a contract if both parties agree verbally. You could have pushed that with a lawyer but, most likely not worth the expense.
