Interested in buying an X3

I'm newly widowed, and brought in a lady friend to help me look at an X3 yesterday. It took forever for one of the 5 guys there to come over and when I asked about safety features like forward collision warning I was told the X3 didn't have it. Online today however I see there is a driver assistance package. Both of us felt as older women, the assumption was that we weren't buying - so next time it's back to Peter Pan where my husband bought the last BMW. Something just felt off in the showroom.
