I inquired about a specific BMW X5 in stock. Got a rapid response and price quote. I scheduled an appointment to see the car since it's a long drive from where I live. I researched the market value on Edmunds using the installed equipment to come up with a matching sticker price, incentives, and dealer invoice. Used the printout to negotiate a realistic price (much lower than online quote). No price padding with paperwork fees or the like. Simple process when armed with data from the Edmunds site, although the incentives were not listed clearly. (I got the specifics of those from another dealer, explaining a target price below dealer invoice)
