Continental Subaru

Bought a new 1973 Subaru coupe from them. After 2000 miles the engine was running horrible. Dealer could not look at it for NINE weeks. No loaner or deal on a rental. Tore the engine down and it had blown head gasket on one side. Went down to buy parts no special deal as they had not worked on it. I bought the head gasket kit and just got it running when the other side did the same thing. No help from Continental motors. Next one of the cheapo Bridgestone tires split on the side. Again no help from Continental Motors. I did finally get reimbursed by Bridgestone after almost a year of letter writing. Car would never stay in gear going up hill on a couple inches of snow. NO help from the dealer. OVERALL a very bad experience that left me cold on Subaru.
