I bought a Pontiac Sunfire 2004 new at the end of 2004, and am the first and only owner of the vehicle. At year 3 I noticed the clear coat was beginning to come off the top of the roof of the car (it had a kind of white rough look developing). I took to car to the dealership and was told it was not under warranty and that it was ... Read More
If I understand your question, you have a headlight blinking, and are hearing a clicking sound. This is, quite likely, an overloaded circuit breaker. Headlight bulbs are usually protected by circuit breakers rather than by fuses. These circuit breakers reset after a brief cool-down period. You probably need to take this car to a competent auto-electric shop and have them look at it. I'm guessing that this is a wiring problem. ... Read More
My low beam headlight on the driver side stopped working so I replaced the bulb which didn't work (the original bulb looked fine) I checked my fuses, they're all fine. when I didn't have my lights on the low beam that works flashes and the car clicks as if I have my turn signal on. What might the problem be?

I had a similar problem a few months ago with my 2004 Sunfire. I went to start my car on Saturday morning, and it wouldn't start. I would try to start it, it would spin, and start, but every time I let off of the key it would die. After taking it to the dealer (it was still under warranty), the dealer said that the wires on the ignition switch are ... Read More
How did this turn out for you? Did replacing the TCC Solenoid solve the problem you were having? I have a 2004 Sunfire and I have had very similar problems that you described. Anyone have any idea whats the deal with the Supercharger for the 2004 Sunfire? I read an article about it in the Pontiac owners magazine, it said it was supposed to come out in summer of 05, but I can't find info on it anywhere, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know if this will help, but in my 2004 Chevy Cavalier, the fuse box is located on the driver side of the dash- the very left. That side is a removable cover.. I don't know if it is like that in Sunfires, though.
