This morning I noticed pinging sound when accelerating, coming from under the hood in AT area. When I switched to first gear the sound become grinding. My car has never been in an accident. In Set. 99, the steering column, loosen and the wheel felt like it was going to fall off. The dealer said he could not get a new or used column, so he tried to rebuild the existing column. The repair lasted for 4 months. The dealer states I really need another column, and my model( I have the radio controls on the wheel) ... Read More
