My daughter got out of my 2009 Murano by manually unlocking the driver side door. The alarm went off. I grabbed my keys and pressed the unlock button. I don't have an ignition switch on my key at all. I can only start the ... Read More
Are you close to the LA line. I just got a 2009 LE for 25k, not bad considering the KBB is 29something.... They had a '11 SL with 8k miles on it for 30k. Lake Charles, LA Nissan
I took my wife's 2009 Murano today to Nissan for 30,000 service. They quoted me $980.00 just for the routine service and that includes 390 for cvt oil change. I am now afraid of the subsequent costs and repairs because I am retiring soon and spending that type of money is scary at retirement. Did any one here pay for that service and if so at what cost. Thanks lcw
Be careful. There are a lot of exclusions in the Murano CVT warranties. The statistics seem to be climbing now in the 2009 & 2010 Muranos. The CVT's continue to display the same problem as in earlier models. Be warry! These cars are very problematic.
For what it's worth; I just got out of a 39-month lease on my 2009 Murano LE and got into a new 39-month lease on a 2011 Murano LE. I really couldn't be happier with the deal. I was contacted by my local Nissan dealership last week and was told that because of the Nissan incentives on new Muranos I could get into a new Murano at the same monthly payment ... Read More
My 2009 Murano gave up the ghost today on the CVT. Dealer is covering under the extended warranty since it only has 74K miles. Will not cover the leaking transfer case. OK, called Nissan and got my early termination fee for our 2009 SL AWD Murano, it's $422.65. Thoughts on my situation? I take it it will be much less closer to the end of my lease. Hey everyone, We are in a 2009 Murano SL AWD lease for another 11 months yet and recently we got a letter from Nissan regarding the Bottom Line Sales Event and Lease Loyalty promotion. Smarty666, Sorry. Your words & view on this issue are not at all acceptable. Many first year vehicles are highly successfull, and DONOT display the problems the Muranos are exihibiting. I checked, AND, the 2009 - 2011 Muranos are still using the same ... Read More

There were no significant design changes to the CVT's that made it better in 2007. Through repeated manfuacturing I expect Nissan's statistical flaw rate improved with time. Most everyone who knows leasing would tell you to take the 8k trade as a cash check from the dealer and put it in the bank. Use it to supplement your higher monthly payments. Update: Went back to the dealer with my calculations. The salesman looked confused at first so I sat with the finance manager to review their quote and my calculations. Their initital offer was $1000 down, my trade and a payment of $414.35 (see my last post for specifics). After going over my numbers (finance manager offering no explination as to why they were different to begin with) he relented to $1000 ... Read More

Hi daz499. I've seen the info that you're looking for, but this vehicle's lease program varies by term, mileage allowance, and trim level. You never mentioned what any of these variables are, so I'm going to have to make some assumptions. Let me know if you want something different. I thought there were some benefits when you re-lease from nissan. Extra allowance maybe.
The 2006 is on a lease, so nothing back. I shopped this deal to 2 other dealers and one came down on cap cost to 32725 (150 or so below invoice) He did this after I told him the original dealer was going to come down to 33250 (the original dealer said he would meet me half way to invoice from 34k) However, my car won't be in for 10 days. ... I had a great deal of trouble getting my hands on a Murano SL AWD with 360 package. But you are right- the sales price for my 2009 is about 2 grand less than what it was on my 2006 that was identically equipped. I was paying $437/month for a 42 month, 15k lease on my 2006 Murano with nothing down, and sales tax rolled in. I just leased a 2009 ... Read More
I have a Nissan Murano with a lease that matures in December 2009. Is NMAC offering any incentives to existing lease customers to lease a new Nissan (or Infiniti)? I know that I can turn in the car toward a new lease up to 90 days before maturity, but I was wondering if there are any other incentives. Also, does NMAC waive any fees other than security deposit for re-leases? Also, ... Read More

Can I do better for all those packages?
