Best Car Buying Experience You Can Have!

The very best experience you can have buying a car. I say this having spent 2 months car shopping and going to 10 different dealerships. I wish we had gone here first! No sleaze, no tricks. I am so grateful such a dealership exists. It restored my faith in humanity after having had it chipped away at the other dealerships. We worked with Paul Whitehead. He was very pleasant, at ease and down to earth. We got a great deal, it was a quick process (you don't get passed from one person to the next for each thing and don't have to sit around while they keep pretending they are going back to talk to the manager again to get you a "better deal"..ugh). The follow up on service and how they go over all of the car features with you- and then follow up and offer a concierge to meet with you at the dealership or at your house, to review them or address any questions that have come up, was another example of their commitment to positive customer experiences. They are also very involved in ongoing service to our community, including animal rescue-so a bonus in my book -so great! This dealership is a shining example of great companies that do things a little differently from the rest of their industry. This aspect was totally missing from every other dealership. It was honestly...refreshing.

MM SUBARU HONOR YOUR POLICY

There are many positive reviews for Mark Miller Subaru, however, my experience has been negative and is getting worse by the hour. Mark Miller Subaru advertises a "2-Day money back guarantee." The day after I drove the purchased car, I informed them in writing that I wanted my money, and of course, my old car, returned. They sold my trade-in within the first 36 hours or less. One salesman said one day, the service mgr said "the second day." If you lure people into your dealership with the promise of a two day period to get your money back, why would you sell the purchaser's vehicle way inside that 2 day period? That was forcing me to take a vehicle I could not trust, which had obvious problems, which became apparent on day 2. The trust level dropped to nothing. I kept all correspondence in writing. Either they sold my car or not, but after downgrading it, sold it immediately? I won't be the victim of strong-arm sales tactics. I really thought Mark Miller Subaru was a cut above the rest. Turns out they are all [non-permissible content removed] . BUYER BEWARE.

My go to dealership for Subaru

I have recently bought my second new Subaru from Mark Miller Midtown. Steve has been a great asset when buying both of my Outbacks and has gone the extra mile each time for me and my family. When my 2015 Outback got totaled Steve not only sent me a copy of all the original paperwork from the sale for the insurance company, but also helped find me a replacement of a new 2018 Outback to include all the options of my 2015. I plan on buying my next Subaru from Mark Miller in the future.

2015 Subaru Legacy

Carlos was extremely easy to work with, I didn’t feel pressured and he let the car sell itself. I have a pretty hectic schedule and with the holidays being busy they were able to work with my time crunch. I found the perfect car and bought it in less than 2 hours. Most definitely would recommend purchasing a car from here!

Normally, anti-dealership

Pleasantly surprised experience looking at a used vehicle which I ended up buying. Employees were not the typical high pressure salesmen. The only downside was the smell and feeling of the fragrance in the building. Both my wife and I did not like it. It made me a little nauscious, (sick) both times I went in the building.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. I had a very good price to trade my 2014 Outback. (Outback is very popular in Utah so resale value is pretty good). Plenty of choice for my new 2018. Staff very professional and friendly.

They lied to me

I don't generally leave reviews, but these guys deceived and lied to me and I was dumb enough to let them. I bought a vehicle that they promised me had a clean title, carfax, and accident history. I recently found out that there is evidence of various repairs (that were noticed within seconds by an auto body shop I took it to) that they covered up and were dishonest about in selling me the vehicle. Everyone I worked with was nice and came off as honest and good... but someone in there is very untrustworthy. Don't go to them for a used car.

An excellent dealership, due to the people within

I’ve been a loyal Subaru owner since 2007. When I faced the music that at 224,000 miles my “2 owner, never towed, never had a flat tire” 2001 Outback limited wagon, 2nd owner was not getting younger I dove into researching newer car. Got to say after 22 days of hard core researching, test driving etc I’m the proud owner of a 2013 Forester. Had I known what a great experience Mark Miller Subaru’s team has put together I would have pulled the trigger long ago. The highlight was meeting/interacting with Shane Killpack. He’s not a super salesman, he’s an amazing person. Low key, knowledgeable, not afraid to say yes, let's try that, and he adds to your research. I drove him nuts partially because there were 5 Foresters next to each other, all contenders. Shane is someone you want on your team. Always available, consistent, and he totally understands the current auto market. I’m in worldwide sales, and Shane is unique, I only send my best buddies to him. He’s on my A Team, like a trusted doctor. The dealership has undergone obvious changes since they moved to the new location, as they speak with one voice, never hard sell you, value a loyal customer and make buying a new car so easy I can’t wait to do it all over again. It's so rare that you find a dealership that when you say “I have this issue with my car, they walk out TO the car, and act like an owner, not adversarial. Buy a car, they pick you up the next day, then take the time to personally dial in the Bluetooth, a huge timesaver. All paperwork smoothly flies through. This dealership has experience and they are empowered to use it. They don’t push bogus cars with checkered pasts. And yes Shane will tell you the Coffee shop coffee is darn good too. When I ski Snowbird its fun to walk through the parking lot and count every third car as a Subaru. There is VIP parking up close for loyal owners. There is a reason 80% of those cars are in Idaho, Colorado and Utah. Rock solid value, great driving experience in some of the worst snow conditions, and excellent service backup. P.S. I sold the wintergreen Outback to my kids, as I can’t bear to see it leave the family. At first they whined “DAD! We don’t want a car that has been to the Moon! The other day they had some minor car work done, their comment “sure feels good to have the Subie back”...Their college attendance grades literally depend on never being late. Tuition fees, testing stress and all is good when they know when you have to be there, just start the Subaru.

Quick and painless ! Claire was my sales person she took the time to tell me all about the car and made sure I was happy with the numbers. Very professional. Was in and out in about two hours with my trade in. While the bank was running my information she took me for a ride in her cvt wrx and showed me how it worked!

Mark Miller Subaru and Bob Cleveland specifically were highly recommended when I began my car buying research. I'm a southern girl now living on the Wasatch Front of the Rockies and I needed to prepare for safe winter driving. Subaru was at the top of my list based on their high safety ratings. My brother recently purchased a Subaru Legacy and shared the very pleasant experience he had with Bob Cleveland and Mark Miller Subaru. I was ready to take Subaru for a test drive. I met Bob and immediately was at ease with his calm, sure, knowledgeable, supportive demeanor. No overbearing salesman here. That difference allowed me to focus on the right car purchase for me and a potentially stressful situation became easy. I purchased a brand-new Quartz Blue Forester and drove away calm and confident ~ Thanks, Bob! True Blue and I have encountered a couple of wicked winter storms so far and I am happy to share our successful journey. I love my car because it is ruggedly beautiful, very comfortable to drive and did I mention fun? At the heart of it all, I feel safe driving in winter storms and look forward to exploring the western wilds!

Friendly - not pushy. Extremely knowledgable about products and services offered. Attentive to my needs and wants concerning car purchase. Professional and courteous. Will recommend Alex without hesitation. Car I wanted was not on lot. Alex ordered the car I wanted and kept in touch with me periodically til the car arrived in SLC. Made appointment with me to pick up car. Alex was willing to give up his day off if I needed him to. Above and beyond any car salesman has offered to do for me in my previous buying experiences. To sum it up: Alex is a nice, proffesional, knowledgable, courteous, honest young man. It was a pleasure to do business with him.

Car Buying Made Easy

We had done our research prior to visiting the dealership. We had already done our shopping and test drive comparisons of other similar vehicles. Additionally, we had a sales rep referral so we new who to contact. And we had financing pre-approval already to go before visiting the dealership. With those things already in place buying from Steve at Mark Miller Subaru Midtown was a smooth, easy, no pressure event. We bought an XV Crosstrek. The buying experience was easy. Only time will tell if we bought the right vehicle.

We were looking for a Subaru Forester, because our previous vehicle had been totaled out by the insurance company. I had done a lot of research on what I wanted and had settled on a Forester. I was looking to buy private because of the extra expense at a dealer. However, when I found a 2010 at Mark Miller Subaru I thought it might work out. We went in and met with Jon P -- he was awesome! He actually asked us if he could "win our business today". He was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with! He didn't bat an eye when I gave him my offer for the car. Then we got handed off to Jerry J to go over the financing -- it was the same experience! We are VERY happy with the professional, no-hassle service we received at Mark Miller Subaru. We plan on doing all maintenance right at the dealership!

Third Car and Counting

I have purchased from Mark Miller before, so he was my first choice when it came time to look for a replacement for my old car. I was not disappointed! I explained that I was primarily concerned about my ability to get financing, due to my high debt-to-income ration and my ex-wife's inability to get me off the mortgage due to being so far upside down there. So, they went to work seeing what they could do. Within short order, they had some numbers worked out, and they were pretty confident they could find a lender to secure the loan. So we went out to look at cars. They had pulled one off the sheet "at random" to fill in the blanks on the loan application paperwork, and it turned out to be the perfect car for us! We test drove, checked out everything to make sure it was working, and then hung tight while they worked on the financing. It was late in the evening, so most banks weren't open, but they were so confident they would get it all worked out the next day, they let us drive off with the car! The numbers they came up with weren't that great, but I feared they wouldn't be because of my situation. The best loan they could find was 11.9%, which was going to make for a monthly payment higher than I hoped for, but they gave me a very good trade-in value on the Forester I was trading in, much higher than I expected. So, when I went back in the next day to sign the papers, I was expecting the 11.9%. But they had spent several hours working on my account and was able to talk Subaru into financing it themselves for 6.9%!!! On top of that, they took the car into the shop and did a bunch of extra things to it, to get it up to the standards of a Certified Pre-owned car, for free. I was blown away. They could have sold me on the higher rate loan and sent me packing. But they bent over backwards to get the best deal they could for me. This was my third purchase from Mark Miller. I will definitely be back someday when it's time to buy again. Thanks, guys!
