Unethical & Rude Sales Manager

by jerseydriver3 on 01/05/2016

This dealership is quick to give you a deal but absolutely HORRENDOUS with providing customer service!! We have had one bad experience after another and no one takes accountability. Eddie, the sales manager, is quick to provide an excuse too- very unprofessional and completely unethical! Rest assured we won't be going back to Cherry Hill Nissan in the future. Do yourselves a favor and if you’re interested in a Nissan go elsewhere where they actually strive to make things right and put customer service at the forefront. Very disappointed in the customer service and service department!!

Worst ever customer experience

by DNZC on 12/31/2013

The worst customer experience ever! They were one of the first dealerships around Delaware area to get the Nissan Rogue 2014 and also listed with True Car. We took the True Car certificate and they agreed to honor the pricing. After paying a deposit of $4000 to them we were told the car we booked is on recall and they kept us hanging for more than a week just to let us know that the car we had a deposit on & which was on recall was sold to someone else because they assumed through a conversation we had that we didnt want the car - which is absolutely rubbish! To top it all if they even thought we were not interested why would they keep our deposit with them? Then the manager told me she could arrange for another car for us but not honor the pricing we agreed on. But ofcourse I was really mad & upset so I asked them to refund our deposit and they still didnt do so - till we had to call the bank and block the payment. The most annoying part is no one thinks it was important to answer our calls or return them. If anyone out there needs more details I can actually share a formal invoice generated by the dealership & how they just blatantly lied & cheated us!!!

I would like to share how of a satisfy customer i am of Cherr Hill Nissan. My sales person was Franklin S., we had previously had talked before coming to dealership so he was total aware of what i was looking for. When i got there he had everything ready for me, he gave me the option of 2 colors of altimas to see and had them up front waiting for me. I must say he is an asset to dealership and i will continue to buy my cars at Cherry Hill Nissan.

Buyer Beware AGAIN

by freshone98 on 06/18/2012

I went there dealt with Ed G. a nice man...but they did not have any product vehicle i wanted..with specifics..they made me put a 1000.00 down payment on a vehicle i NEVER SAW, NEVER Drove, I kept trying to only leave a 500.00 deposit and company policy per there sales manager 1000.00 and I would get it back if vehicle did not meet my specifications when it would be delivered. However, in the midst of them locating vehicles life happens and I was not able to purchase at this time and explained to them I'm sorry i am not able to buy at this time..and they said too bad you LOSE your deposit. I was told should there be any issues with the car when it arrived I would get my deposit back..and with life issues ..now I WILL NOT GET MY MONEY BACK...so DO NOT >>>DO NOT allow this to happen to you. I am now disputing it with my credit card the down payment since I never acquired the vehicle, never saw it , never drove it..and they will not refund my deposit. BUYERS>>>GO ELSEWHERE.

Buyer Beware!

by ministerpaul08 on 03/11/2011

Rude! Dishonest! Condescending! I spent time over the internet speaking with Amy concerning a 2011 Altima Hybrid until I was quoted a price of $22,159, $4900 under invoice($27,059). Amy told me that Cherry Hill Nissan is not dishonest like Woodbury Nissan and told me to ask for Sam. So I decided to go in to get my 2010 Dodge Ram appraised, but made it clear that I was not going below KBB $29000 and NADA $30,350 both Clean trades. So I spent gas and tolls going to Cherry Hill Nissan. When I got there I asked for Sam the sales manager. Sam greeted me in the empty showroom briefly the introduced me to a salesman, whose name I can not remember...oh Ed. Sam told me the price was good on Altima and that Ed would get my truck appraised. So I gave Ed the owners card/keys and he went to have truck appraised. After about 15 minutes Sam came over to where I was sitting and told me "you know what the answer is going to be. I can offer only $25000 for your truck." I looked at him like he was crazy. He began to explain that he was looking at auction pricing. I told your not sending a 2010 Dodge Ram with 6450 miles to an auction. He told my NADA price was just $30,000 retail, without realizing I had a printed NADA pricing for my truck dated 3/10/2011 in front of me. I showed Sam the NADA paper who rudely snapped "I don't care what you have written on that paper!!! and ran to get his NADA book. Sam stood near the managers desk and flipped through the NADA book with the appraiser to get his LIE straight. He finally came back over and tried to school me on information I had printed in front of me. He began to babble horse dong when he knew he was caught in a LIE. What Sam tried to do was what I call a "Take Back" maneuver by giving a legitimate sale price of $4900 under invoice for the Altima Hybrids which are not selling that well compared to other better Hybrids; and on trade they take back $5000 they gave on the sale price. If I did not have the trade I would have never gotten that price, they would have loaded the price with dealer installed options or try to sell unneeded service contracts in an attempt to Take Back as much of the $4000 customer cash as possible. Well Sam went on babbling about a $7000 down payment and $5.00 gas prices. When he finally realized I wasn't paying him any mind...he thanked my for coming in and I left. I wish I would have read the reviews for Cherry Hill Nissan before going in. I would have avoided them.

BOUGHT A 370Z FROM CHERRYHILL NISSAN

by drag0n09 on 08/06/2010

i have to say my sales guy was ok but hey he wanted to sell a car as far as being bright thats another story.they did have the most 370s in the area but if you dont know anything about your product thats where the problems start. being a motorhead i ask questions but the answers i got were rediculous ,these guys didnt know how to read the tire size or what the numbers meant 245/45/18rear and 225/50/18 in the front so i asked why the fronts were a bit taller , i have to say that the story i got was entertaining so at least they had that going for them.but not a one of the sales people knew what they were talking about . either wayevery model has the same engine and hp except the nismo, they didnt know this either.this wasted alot of time so in short, knowledgable? thats still questionable.the sales end of it took way to long . the car was not a quality car at any price ,i didnt figure that out untill i had it a month or so,heres a small list of problems i had every meaning all 4 body parts behind the tires fell off within days rear lights both sides were being damaged by water accumulation from condensate paint had visable defects then the dealers lot person offered to put my tags on normally id say no but hey what could go wrong? i went inside for a min and when i got back my tags were on ,now i just happened to see silver through the plate as i walked by when i looked closer they had put the screws through the paint and the bumper, now i ordered a bracket just for this reason and it came with all the parts and screws, not to mention i had this part a week after i bought the car i figured its pretty self explanatory, once again dont assume! i brought this to the sales guys attention the response i got was "well trade her in here and we wont hold it against ya" at this point im speechless and i just want to go home . i actually rid myself of this vehicle because it was so poorly constructed and i really felt as though i had wasted my money. cherry hill nissans service manager was one of the reasons i got rid of the vehicle, when the dealers service manager looks directly at water in the rear lights of my new car and tells me that normal we have a problem, then the lot guys were telling me that they loved the 370 and that he had taken one to 150 while driving it just makes you want to leave your new car with these guys dont it ? find another dealership if possible dont waste your time here .

Average experience

by residenteric on 01/12/2009

Called this dealership for a price on a 08 Rogue. Despite of what the person had said to me that they would beat any price, that was not the case. I told them that I was able to get a better price from another Nissan dealership, she said they would beat it and repeatedly tried to convince me to visit the dealership. I went in to speak to a salesman there, he did a good job explaining to me everything about the car and we went for a test drive. I told him about a better price from another dealership and he immediately laughed and trashed the other place saying they do not have the car or the price wasn't legit. The manager said to me that they would only beat a price if I was able to bring in proof in writing of that price which I was never told about it on the phone. He printed some BS emails saying I was told to bring in proof on a better price and phony invoice prices which were a few hundred bucks higher than the true invoice. For a leftover 08 model, they would not negotiate on the price and wanted me to pay quoted price. I think the whole experience was a waste of time. They should have been more clear on their price matching policy.
