Above & Beyond

by dogs4rescue on 07/28/2020

This was my first visit to Nashua Hyundai and I was certainly impressed to say the least. When walked in I was greeted by David...who treated me like a million bucks! He went above and beyond to get me into my new Hyundai Elantra and I really appreciate everyone here who helped. Thanks again

David Ritter

by Fidel on 05/01/2020

I need a new car and David Ritter helped me. David is a very positive person. I am happy with Hunday and the kind people I meet at Nashua Hunday. I highly recommend David who knows and likes his job, and is able to guide customers.

Shady practices

by Harry on 08/26/2019

I called and was told a vehicle was in stock. I offered a deposit. Salesman texting me saying he can’t determine if they have it, then I’m told it just arrived, then I’m told it was just sold. I believe they used my offer to get someone else to commit. I will never contact them again.

Bully Tactics

by AnnL on 05/22/2018

I purchased a new Sonata. After finalizing sale I was told they could not give me the car because they did not have the Certificate of Origin. Can't register or get plates in MA without it. They did not think about looking for the title for 4 1/2 days. On the 7th day of being without a car to get to work, and Jay Taylor not returning my voicemails, Nate Green called and said title was lost by UPS that day. I asked him to cancel the sale. He refused and told me I'd have to wait as long as it took. I asked for the name of his superior that I could speak with. He refused to give me that info. Then he HUNG UP on me The General Sales Manager hung up on me. Once they took my money, I was no longer important to them. I got the car on day 8, but that does not negate the fact that bully tactics used against an older female are not a character trait to be proud of. Shame on you. That sale should have been cancelled.

Our New 2017 Tucson

by Jonathan on 02/16/2018

My wife and I needed to purchase a new SUV. Our Salesman Jon R. was fantastic and fun to work with. He helped guide us through the vehicles and we choose the new Tucson. The Sales manager Jay was great and friendly. If you dread buying a vehicle because of the typical "Sales Guy" and absentee sales manager you never meet, come here. The friendly staff and great service are wonderful. This is our second Hyundai from Nashua. Both time we could not have asked for a better experience.

Pushy sales tactics, retaliatory management if you anger them!

by vcg on 08/07/2015

Came in to buy a new car. Husband did the legwork and landed at this dealer. Sales person Curtis was GREAT. Was strong-armed by dealership management into putting down a deposit. Wife went in to pull the plug when she learned of the aggressive sales tactics used (this practice is SOOOO archaic, guys). Management was very demanding regarding why the sale was not going to happen. Would not take NO for an answer (don't all good moms teach their sons that when a woman says no, it means NO??) despite practically being begged for a prompt refund of the deposit. Took card and acted like refund was being issued. Kept hounding and harassing. Things finally got ugly when it went out into the parking lot, when management continued to follow and badger the wife that was clearly not interested in buying the car. Turns out that they did not bother to process refund paperwork because they were angry with the wife for the way things got ugly. Couple had to file dispute of charge with bank, and opened up cases with NH Better Business Bureau, the NH Attorney General, and Hyundai Consumer Affairs. Is this the sort of dealership that YOU want to do business with?? Think about it...

Extremely poor customer service after sale and incompetence

by mjcutler83 on 07/31/2015

Apparently these [non-permissible content removed] will take revenge on those who they identify as having written a bad review, so I can't provide any significant details about my experience. That being said, this has been the worst customer service experience post-sale that I have ever experienced. The pre-sale service and concern was nothing to write home about either.

DO NOT Let Their Service Department Near Your Car!

by michst514 on 10/03/2014

DO NOT let their service center touch your car!! I'll start by saying I have no experience with their sales department so this review is based solely on my experience with the service department. Basically I brought my 2011 Sonata in for a recall and they completed the recall and recommended 2 additional services, 1) New Breaks and 2) replace my right outer tie rod. I agreed the breaks were due to be replaced but was not convinced I had a tie rod issue. I had experienced none of the symptoms they were citing as the basis for this recommendation. Within 24 hours I was getting a noise coming from the breaks whenever I used them. I returned to the dealership where they insisted that the work they performed (new break pads, machined rotors and serviced calipers) was fine. They were blaming the break noise on the "bent tie rod". Which I still did not buy into. I took the car to another service center where they found the rotors were damaged and the tie rod was fine. Not trusting Nashua Hyundai I had the other center replace the rotors. When I called Nashua Hyundai the next day and spoke to the service manager, Steve, the experience only got worse. All I wanted was compensation for the extra labor from having to have their work fixed ($100). Steve was completely uncooperative. I want to highlight 2 moments from the call. First, after telling him that I would never let them service my car again his response was, "Now I really have no reason to do anything for you if you're never coming back." The second was after I said that I was going to call Hyundai corporate, Steve hung up on me. I immediately called back and asked to speak with Steve's supervisor, Art. I had to leave him a message saying that I had been hung up on and would like a call back. This was on Monday 9/27. It is now Friday 10/3 and I have not heard a word from Nashua Hyundai. Again I say DO NOT let their service department near your car.

Absolutely Horrible

by gman524 on 08/05/2013

I was going to buy a used car from this dealership and I am so glad the deal fell through. I had placed a $1,000 deposit on a vehicle via credit card to hold the car because I was from out of state. The car was advertised as in excellent condition but when I looked at it it needed new front and rear bumpers. They had promised they would take care of it in a week and the car would be ready. Well after 3 weeks the car was not ready so I requested a refund. Good luck getting someone to call you back when you back out of the deal. It took me over 20 phone calls and I had to file a complaint against them to get someone to call me back. Now the refund, it has been over a month and still no refund, I had to place a hold on my credit card and dispute the charge that way. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP !!!!!!! From the lazy salesman to the incompetent people working in the office it is horrible.

Stay far away from this dealership

by dev14 on 09/04/2012

If I can save 1 person from getting screwed from this dealership then I have done my deed for the year. I took a 2011 Sonata for a test drive and liked it enough to buy it. When exiting the vehicle I noticed the Sonata emblem was missing from the back of the car. I asked the saleswoman and manager if this car was in an accident. They both said no. LIE#1 To confirm this they asked the salesman Les who had leased the car for a year why the emblem was missing. Les stated that he had a friend who took his off and he liked the look and by no means was the car ever in an accident. LIE#2 If you are leasing a car I didn't think it was your place to remove emblems you didn't like on the car. I asked for the carfax which showed no accidents but the vehicle was serviced 5 times within the year. The following week I asked to see a detailed report on all the 5 services. On one of the service dates it showed that the left and right quarter panels had 8 hours worth of paint and finish. No accident there? The body work was done at their dealeship and Les even paid for it. This was not reported on Carfax. People be very cautious when looking over carfax. It does not always show everything. Get detailed information on what was done to the car whenever possible on any used car you plan on buying. Now I have always felt that salespeople at dealerships were the lowest form of mankind and boy Nashua Hyundai did not disappoint.

Spiteful treatment of a repeat customer?

by jmg42 on 03/16/2012

To make a long story short, after my family bought its third (and, as it turns out, final) Hyundai from this dealership, we had an extremely unpleasant encounter with the owner because of a poor mark given on the Hyundai dealer survey. To tell you the truth, the experience up to that point was fine. The problem was that the last car we bought wasn't ready on the agreed upon delivery date and had some minor electrical issue, as well. So, when the survey came around, we were honest. They got good marks in every area except the one related to delivery. Sounds fair, right? Well, fast-forward to our first oil change, which was supposed to be complimentary from the dealership for purchasing the car (a common perk). We dropped off the car for the oil change, came back to pick it up later, and when we tried to use our voucher for the free oil change, we were ushered in to owner's office. This guy proceeds to tell us that he's not giving us a free oil change because we gave his dealership a bad review. He said we'd jeopardized the salesman's job with our review and he didn't appreciate it. By the way, he did all of this while sitting at his desk, never making eye contact, with us standing in the doorway of his office. We were so flabbergasted by his behavior and sullen, dismissive attitude that we just left. I think we even ended up paying for the oil change just to get out of there (I wish we hadn't, in hindsight). This was several years ago. We haven't been back and we've made it a point to tell anyone who asks to avoid this dealership at all costs. I just can't believe a business like this can stay in business. It's definitely not the way to go about establishing customer loyalty. Not only have I stopped doing business with this dealer, I haven't bought a Hyundai since.

Definitely recommended

by creyes1 on 06/12/2011

I'm about to purchase my 4th car from this group with not one complaint. I do my homework before going in. Know what I want, know what's a fair price to pay and go from there. Our man Ronnie has always been up front, helpful and honest. (I know because I sold cars on the West Coast back in the early 80s) Not sure what the reviewer from Dec. 09 was complaining about but generally in life if you give attitude you get attitude back. Like I said I'm about to purchase my 4th car from them.

pack of [violative content deleted]

by unhappy_buyer on 12/08/2009

These guys started by jerking me around with what cars were availible for sale; because they didn't have the one I wanted on their lot; I paid them a deposite for a car that I never got. They proceded to find me a model with fewer options and sell it to me for an inflated price of 1000 dollars to install power accessories (I have since done some research, this was a 200 dollar system, MAYBE ~400). The kicker is that the power locks don't even unlonk the trunk. When I gave them a poor rating by Hyudai's phone survey the owner called me up to harass me, not to rectify my complaints, but to harass me. Maybe it is family run, but this family is one of the scuzziest; they really fit into the stereotypical car dealership category. Are you reading this, owner? Maybe you remember me; you asked for it.

Like The No "B.S." Style!!!

by News2Me on 12/20/2008

I went into Nashua Hyundai not even looking to buy a car. I was greated right away in the parking lot, and I mean greated not asked a bunch of questions. I can't stand being "Bombarded" by a pushy salesman. I asked to see the Elantra SE "I knew all about the top spot on the consumer ad". I was given probrably one of the best demos I have ever received. Not everyone knows that Nashua Hyundai is a Thompson Auto Group / MacMulkin Family Owned dealership. I think that is 100% the reason the sales force is different there, never did I feel pushed into my car or bugged about financing and payment terms. When I was shopping I did go to three other local Hyundai dealers, but the Nashua guy DID NOT KNOW I shopped him. Not only did Nashua Hyundai have the LOWEST dealer Doc Fee in the area, I found out $99.00 is the lowest in the country. Plus the salesman introduced me to every manager in the company :-) I mean honestly, what better feeling is it to know all the managers and build a raport with a dealer. Long story short...I would recommend and commend this dealershipm for the honest and no "B.S." style of runnign a business. Manchester, NH
