1. Very pleased with the knowledge of our salesperson with the vehicle's features and with his helpfulness in handling the transaction process. 2. Not very pleased that the dealership--immediately upon completion of the "sale"--tries to sell various extra protection plans that cost significant money and uses sales tactics that, while not truly "high-pressure", try to instill a strong fear about a wide range of possible situations that could cost significant "out-of-pocket" costs so that the buyer feels under pressure to make immediate decisions after just completing the lengthy and mildly stressful process of purchasing a new vehicle. 3. Not happy that Ford promotes 3-year "bumper-to-bumper" warranty, but the extra-coverage sales rep then says that there are exceptions that can cost the customer out-of-pocket funds to fix. 4. Were forced to return to the dealership after the Parts Department ordered the wrong rubber floor mats for the vehicle.

I ordered my Maverick through James Dryer over a year ago. It was very delayed due to the strike and supply issues. Jim did a really great job of keeping me updated on the status of the build. As soon as my truck arrived, he made sure it was prepped in a day so that I could get it as soon as possible. Smooth transaction. Great service! I love my new truck. Thank you!

Dishonest and Deceitful

Terrible experience at a dishonest dealership. Salesperson tried to add an additional $1000 to our lease buyout and hoped we wouldn't notice. This dealership is after your money and does not care about your situation. They will do this to anyone that comes in to process a lease buyout. DO NOT use this dealership. This stealership will try and take advantage of you and do not care about retaining your future business. I've had good experiences with their parts and service departments, but I will never be returning here for anything. Please look over and re-check your paperwork if you've done any business here.

This was our first experience as customer of Southgate Ford. This dealership but foremost our sales person Katie Jesulaitis exceeded our expectation. When do you have a sales person calling you and reviewing an offer and the details after 9pm, when it's convenient for the customer but the dealership is closed? That exactly what Katie did. She's a hard working sales person, who honors her promises and commitments. The rest of the leasing process was also very smooth and pushy. All was explained and at the end we got our picture with the car. This is our best experience with any car dealer so far. Keep up the good work!

2018 Ford Escape

Loving my Escape. The extras on the Titanium are definitely worth it. The bigger engine gives you confidence when needing the extra acceleration. The warm seats and steering wheel are heaven-sent in these cold northern winters. Its comfortable and fun to drive.

It's was good a few issues the day of vehicle transfer had to wait for van to be ready, cleaned up and plated and to complete paperwork, I had called ahead to say what time I would be there was expecting the vehicle ready to go just to sign paperwork. I expected a full tank of gas when I pick it up but only had a 1/4 tank. They were able to negotiate a good loan rate for me which was appreciated.

My Experience with Southgate Ford

I had totaled my 2010 Focus on April 13, 2015. The insurance company confirmed it was a loss on April 22, 2015. I had to find a car as soon as possible. The moment I heard it was a loss I called the dealership that had sold me the 2010 Focus. The salesman was not helpful at all, didnt seem to care to help me. So my nephew suggested I see Chip (Michael Czapiewski) at Southgate Ford. I went to Southgate Ford on Saturday morning, April 25, 2015, and met with Mr. Czapiewski. He was extremely helpful. He listened to what I had to say, answered my questions, and took all my information. He would call me Monday, April 27, 2015. When he called he informed that I had been approved for a 2015 Focus, and all we had to do was figure the details, such as colors. By that evening I drove away in my beautiful 2015 Ford Focus. I have told everyone what a wonderful experience I had at Southgate Ford, and that Mr. Czapiewski is a wonderful salesman. I highly recommend seeing Chip, Mr Czapiewski, at Southgate Ford.
