***STEALERSHIP ALERT***

My wife and I were looking to purchase a 2018 Cx-9 and came across a listing at their dealership. Like many, we get frustrated with the games used car salesmen like to play and were completely up front about what we were willing to pay before making the 2 hour drive. With spoke with John Clark who was pleasant at first as they always are. When we weren't willing to pay the amount listed he said he would work with any reasonable offer, which we gave of $1,500 less than the asking price to include taxes. This was more than reasonable based on price ranges and we actually paid less on the same vehicle (year, model, color, mileage and condition) the very next day at a dealership south of them. We expected a counter offer or at least a simple, "I'm sorry, but we can't do that" like any respectable. Instead we got a counter offer for the original amount PLUS a multitude of fees on top. Seriously... what the heck is a $299 "Theft Pevent" fee anyways? I'm guessing that since we already had financing in place they couldn't find anywhere else to milk us for money. Stay away from the Gurley Leep Autotive Group. Shady bunch.

Unbelievable Experience

We were referred to Gurley Leep by a long-time friend who happens to sell premium used cars. We were looking for a "new" car that he was unable to help us with and he referred us to Gurley Leep. Since we already knew what we wanted, our deal was agreed upon before we ever saw/drove the car. When we arrived at the dealer, our new car was sitting inside the showroom, with a "congratulations" sign and our names underneath. While I understand this kind of welcome would not be possible had our "deal" not been pre-arranged, I also understand that they didn't have to go to any such effort as they had already "sold" us the car. Our new car could have been parked outside, with no sign! John Sims treated us like family! He followed up with a call the following business day to see if we had any questions or issues. He took all the time we needed to go over the features of our new car--and never made us feel rushed. He made us feel important to him and his dealership. This all started due to the long-standing relationship between my friend and Rocky, the sales manager at Gurley-Leep. They delivered everything I expected and more.

Bad deal

Other dealers can easily beat the "deal" offered to you at Gurley Leep. My car was sold with the statement that it possessed an option that I later found it did not possess.
