Jill at Porter Ford was exceptional! I was in need of a car after mine was totaled. I did not have a lot of money to spend. Jill showed me what was available in my price range and went a step further by explaining how I could get into a better and safer car without spending a ton. After thinking about what she said I asked her to give me some options. I went back the next day and she had found me the perfect car!! Not only will I return to Jill, I will absolutely refer anyone and everyone to her. Thank you Jill - and Porter Ford!

Porter Ford New Newark DE

Service 65K I had them change Spark plugs, synthetic Oil change and coolant change. They inspected the Car and the Front Brake were about done. Yep they were and I changed the brakes my self.

2012 Ford Expedition Front Differential Replacement

Experience was good. Ford could not offer a replacement front differential so I had to order a re-manufactured differential for Porter to install.

Today was my third time showing up at Porter Ford Service, and I do appreciate the team's special attention to have their returning customers meet the same service representatives they already got to know every time if possible, so that they can create a friendly atmosphere to their customers. Lorenzo Hines is an outstanding customer service representative at the service department. I just happened to have an unpleasant situation with my beloved red pony that required me to check it in for a repair today. Lorenzo made sure the car would be fixed as quickly as possible with no hassles/issues and for a nice price. Great team! Thank you, Lorenzo!

15 Thousand Mile Service and much more!

I brought my car in for 2 reasons. The primary reason was that I had hit a large piece of metal Pick-up truck rear end or transmission think) That tore up my right front tire and the right side undercarriage components. My service advisor immediately brought the car in and put it on the lift to determine the extent of the damage. He then communicated with Porter's body shop to arrange for me to bring the car over for an estimate. While the car was still in the service area they performed my 15,000 mile service (which was performed perfectly and quickly) I then brought the car over to Porter's body shop - They arranged for a rental car and proceeded to work with my insurance adjuster to get the work approved ASAP. It should be noted that Porter Ford, in particular Eduard Wayland, communicated with me every step of the way, unlike my insurance company. Edward was able to get things done quickly and with great efficiency! This is by far one of the best car dealers I've ever had the opportunity to do business with and I have owned many cars in My 70 years!

Tag team got the job done

On Tuesday 11/14/17 I got a call from Melissa Merced. I had my 5th appointment for my 2014 Focus to have the transmission checked and she asked if I was interested in getting out of it. Owing more for the car than it could be sold for, I felt nothing was possible but she said to come in and see. The tag team of Mike Williams, Tom Guido and Rob Dollar managed to get me the financing needed to leave with a nicely equipped 2017 Fiesta SE. It took some doing but in the end they made it happen. I not only have trouble free driving but my payments barely moved. This is my second car purchased at Porter and my 4th consecutive new car purchased from Ford. I am happy to recommend Porter to anyone in the market for a car.

My experience with Porter ford couldn’t have been any better! I have challenging credit and limited time to stop in due to my work schedule but that didn’t stop Kelly at all! Kelly went above and beyond what any other dealerships and salesman were willing to do by communicating via text during negotiations and finalizing the sale. I had to stop at the dealer for just one hour this past Friday and that was to sign the paperwork that was already drawn up and ready to go. Kelly even came in on his day off because that was the only open time i had to get it done. I truly appreciate the extra effort that is so very rare put in by Kelly and the financing department. I will absolutely be back again!!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchased a vehicle in early June from "Poor"ter. Here we are 2 months later with a tag that expires today. I was told that it takes 6 to 8 weeks to receive the permanent tag. Stopped by the dealership at 6 weeks.......no tag sorry..........7 weeks.......no tag.......sorry........8 weeks today.......sorry. Oh, and they don't give more than one temp tag. I am told not to worry, if I'm pulled over they will pay my fine. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! No sense of urgency what so ever. Just a shrug of the shoulders as if to say 'oh well". Not acceptable. I now have a brand new vehicle that I will not drive with expired tags. Stay clear of this dealer!

The salesmen are very knowledgeable and helpful. I came in about 6 months prior to lease end to decide what my next move ought to be. I loved the vehicle I leased but it didn't have heated seats, a feature I've had on my prior vehicles. So we went on to Ford.com to build my vehicle, super easy experience. I was told delivery can take 7-9 wks, so I ordered in early April and it arrived in mid-May! Taking back the lease and getting the purchase done on this vehicle was a breeze!

Prompt and courteous

USB ports were not functioning in new Escape but service department repaired it promptly. It seems a wire had not been connected under center console. Of greater concern however is why a new vehicle had this defect. But it was repaired and we are satisfied.
