My husband leased a Mazda CX-5 about two years ago and has been very happy with it from day one. The lease on my SUV (not a Mazda) was due to be up in January 2017. I thought about going back to the dealer I leased my vehicle from knowing I could get a good deal on another, newer SUV, but while I liked my current car, I didn't love it. Nothing wrong with it or the other dealership, I just wasn't excited about it. So we started looking at what other four-wheel drives might be available. I really wasn't planning on getting almost EXACTLY the same car as my husband's but we figured "what the heck, we'll see what new with the CX-5." Well, long story short, there are now two white Mazda CX-5s in our garage. I love driving the car. I feel safe in it, it's comfortable, the sound system, navigation system, etc. are all great and easy to operate. The experience leasing the car was absolutely great and my salesperson, Adam Rivero, was wonderful. He is pleasant, personable and knowledgeable and I never, ever felt pressured during the time we spent with him, which was quite a while. I can't remember his name, but the gentleman we spoke when we had to sign all the paperwork to pick up the car was also great. Very friendly. The whole experience was wonderful.

I had an excellent experience shopping for a new car lease at colonial mazda. I stopped in just looking to do a test drive and ended up signing for the car the same day when everything went better than expected. Everyone working here is pleasant and knowledgeable and I never felt uncomfortable or as though I was being forced into a decision I didn't want to make. I think I'm most impressed that the friendliness didn't stop after I signed for the car, but has continued in all subsequent interactions which proves how genuine they all are. Overall, I'm very happy and won't hesitate to come here in the future when I'm due for a new lease.

From the very beginning it was professional service. It all started with an email from Heather after my internet inquiry. She was persistent, but not pushy and once I was ready and knew what I wanted she connected me with John. John was super professional and priced the CX-5 Touring with sunroof package at such a fair price, it took out all the drama of buying a car. I was in a car within 3 days, and it's perfect!! Jay was wonderful as well and didn't pressure us into buying any extended warranty. However, he did go over them in detail. They are such a friendly group of people!! If you want a Mazda go to Colonial!!

Had a great experience working with the dealership, Jason White, and Heather Ramos. Heather was very helpful in taking down my information and getting me in contact with the appropriate sales people. Great first introduction to the company. Jason was incredibly professional, but also knew when to crack a joke, or let the car speak for itself. Made me and my wife feel very comfortable with the whole process. Would definitely look here first when I next need to buy a car.

We were hesitant to start the whole car buying process, as we have had some bad experiences with dealerships in the past. We did a lot of research online, and Colonial Mazda kept coming up as having the make and model we were looking for, at the best price. We certainly had our "guards up" when we first visited the dealership, and didn't want to seem too eager or rush into anything too quickly. When we arrived, everyone was really helpful, and the salesperson that helped us (Cody) was so nice. Our financial situation is less than ideal (due to school loans and medical bills), but everyone really did their best to accommodate our needs and make something work for us. The whole process felt very relaxed, and we didn't feel pressured into buying anything. After buying the car, we have no buyer's remorse and would definitely refer friends and family to this dealership in the future.

My experience here was excellent, I couldn't have asked for better! Patrick was super helpful and made the entire process run very smooth. He provided excellent customer service and was great at follow-up without putting on the pressure to "buy, buy, buy now!" I felt at ease and make this important decision and test drove the car I purchased a couple of times; Patrick was very patient and addressed all of my concerns and was very knowledgeable. I was very impressed how smooth and fast the process was once I decided to move forward and how effortless it was on my part. Patrick took care of everything! It was so easy-- no headaches, no hassle. The car, used, was filled with a full tank of gas, spotless and beautifully detailed--squeaky clean and shiny... good as new. I could not have been more pleased with a car dealership. I definitely highly recommend this dealer; he would get my repeat business for any future purchases. From the moment we walked into Colonial Mazda, we felt at home. We had done a lot of research on the CX-5, and Nelson's in-depth knowledge and pride in the vehicle were evident. He joined us on the test drives, which allowed us to get answers to our questions as they arose, and allowed him to point out various features in action in various driving scenarios. We particularly appreciated the thought he put into choosing the route for our test drives, trying to simulate our daily driving conditions as closely as possible. Nelson's and Roy's kindness and no-pressure demeanors made the entire experience a pleasure. We also had a great experience with the service department. Joe and Jeremy went above and beyond to get snow tires put on the car before we took delivery, and they and the entire service department were friendly and welcoming. We have no doubt we're in good hands. We couldn't have asked for a better car-buying experience.

I was on my way to buy a Honda CR-V and stopped into Mazda, at my husband's request, to 'check out the CX-5. I'm glad I did! Adam Dean greeted me at the door and was super friendly and helpful. He led me through all of the benefits of the car and was knowledgeable enough to point out the differences to the Honda. He urged me to take it for a test drive and its what sold me on the vehicle. It was a great ride and felt like a car rather than a noisy SUV. I loved the features of the car and we easily worked out a deal on a model that they had in stock. Negotiations were painless and I never felt like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. Taking delivery of the vehicle was smooth as well, Adam was ready for us and made it go quickly which was super important to us since we had our three young kids with us. (Definitely not like the hours I've spent in other dealerships waiting and waiting for a car they knew we were coming for.) Everything was as expected and Adam followed through on all that we had agreed to. The typical questions to 'add - on' warranties and service plans were gone through with the finance guy, we signed and we were on our way. A month later and I am so happy with my purchase. Adam is knowledgeable and respectful and actually makes the car buying process fun and easy. I had a great experience and highly recommend working with him.

The anxiety and excitement I felt walking into Colonial Mazda to purchase my very first car was, to say the least overwhelming. I'm not sure which emotion I felt more! I had just said goodbye to my car of 11 years and very suddenly needed a replacement, but wasn't quite sure yet if my "oldie but a goodie" could be replaced. Apprehensive and excited, I knew I wanted someone to help me who was sincere, compassionate and in tune with my needs/wants as a first time car buyer, without pushing their own agenda. Little did I know I would find two people who would fulfill this need. I would like to preface I went to several dealerships before I went to Colonial Mazda in Danbury, and I walked out of each one because I didn't feel like it was the right fit...there was always something that didn't feel right. I was going to be making the biggest purchase of my life! But thankfully, Colonial Mazda turned out to be the right fit! When I walked in the door a smiling face behind a desk littered with beautiful family photos and customer satisfaction awards stood up and reached out his hand to introduce himself. His name? Adam Dean. Within a few moments of being with him, I knew I had found the person I would want to work with in purchasing my very first car, so I decided to proceed. I started to relax. Soon after we discussed everything, and he felt he had a good sense of what I was looking for, I test drove the 2016 Mazda CX-3. What a beauty! I knew I had to have it!!! Adam went the distance to make that happen, and despite my nervous energy and millions of questions, he was willing to work with me and break down each step until I understood the car buying process. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was compassionate to my situation. He made me feel right at home. There is nobody I would have preferred to go through this experience with than him. Adam is the kind of person you just can't forget! I also had the pleasure of working with David Adams in management. Immediately he struck me as a friendly down to earth man. He was not only honest, but helpful and humorous. He conveyed he wanted me to be happy, have a stress free experience, and wanted to be sure I felt comfortable with my purchase because he understood it was a very large decision I was making. He delivered. For the stretch of time I felt with him, it was easy to forget I was dealing with management; it was more like dealing with a friend. David is the kind of person you're thankful you came across! I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Mazda CX-3 in Soul Red and I am absolutely in LOVE. She drives like a dream! I came to this dealership because my old car had seen its last day and I was panicking because I had no car and couldn't get to work. My boyfriend got his car at Colonial Mazda through Adam so that's where I started. Adam was so so accommodating! I flat out told him what I could afford and what I couldn't. He didn't push me at all and recommended what he could within my price range (a very pretty white Mazda3). He was extremely helpful with making sure I got my loan and he also answered any questions I had (of which there were many). Fred was also very kind to me. He was tasked with explaining to me the different insurance options and gap insurance. He, thankfully, was very patient as I tried to comprehend all the information coming at me. I felt Fred was looking out for my best interests and genuinely wanted the best for me. I would 100% recommend Colonial Mazda for anyone who is looking for a new/preowned car!

Both my husband and I were extremely pleased with our experience with Colonial Mazda from start to finish. We went in looking for a potential lease, and had a great experience with Cody, who spent quite a bit of time with us talking through the options. He knew everything about the cars, and helped guide us where we wanted to go. The test drive was particularly impressive, as it was a long ride (longer than any test drive I'd done before), and we really got a good sense of the Mazda driving experience. I returned to the US after 25 years in the UK with no credit history - basically a 'non-person' here. Adam and Fred helped me 1) get wheels, and 2) were such great support. Now, 2 years on, they have helped me again - get the "wheels' I wanted 2 years ago :-D! Adam is a people person who looks at your situation and makes it work. He works it for YOU. Cody was very helpful, friendly and pleasant from start to finish. He answered all my questions and my brothers about the CX-5. They didn't have the exact CX-5 that I wanted but they found one quickly. He and the dealership accommodated my schedule and my brothers when picking up the CX-5. Even though the finance manager was off on the day we wanted to pick up the vehicle they got it done and even quickly rectified an error in the paperwork that we picked up on. Cody is professional as well as funny. I like that he has touched base with me since getting the CX-5 to see how things were going, if I had any further questions and how I liked the CX-5. Great vehicle by the way! Thank you for such a quick and easy experience. Also thanks to the gentleman that took over for the finance manager. This dealership is the best we have ever dealt with. They bent over backwards to help us and gave us an excellent deal. We had previously leased a Mazda 3 and a Mazda 6, and just got a beautiful CX 5. We are repeat customers, and if we weren't relocating, we would definitely be back next time because they are great! Nelson Mejias as always, is helpful, courteous, knowledgable...the best salesman. We also had the pleasure of working with Tom Amalfitano who was equally knowledgable and personable. I saw the Mazda2 listed online and very competitively priced. I went to check it out that day. The effervescent Heather (Web Manager) matched me up with Adam (Salesman) who was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and above all; a cool dude. We had a fun and relaxed test drive. Please take the time to read this- this is my honest and horrific experience I had here. If I could score them a zero- or less than zero- I would!!! I was looking around at other dealerships in the area and they were very patient with me...until we got to buying the car. I decided to buy from their dealership even so they were $700 more than the best deal I got. I spent hours speaking with them and found it completely unprofessional when they started TEXTING me to ask questions. The day I was buying the car, they had me come in at 6:00 but quickly changed it to 5:30. I got there at 5:30 and waited for over a half hour to be seen by the salesman. I was inspecting my car and they told me that the salesman went to get gas in my car (that was right in front of me) which is why I was waiting. However, he was not - he came driving through with another prospect in a test drive. It was after 6:00 when I got to sit down with them and they were closed at that point. They sent me in to the business managers office to start signing the documents. He was very short with me and just wanted me to sign as quick as possible. I took my time and read everything carefully and thank god I did because THEY TRIED TO SNEAK IN ANOTHER $2100 on my loan. They said that they had to pay someone to locate and deliver the car and that added money and because this was not the one they had in stock they could not honor the quote. No one reached out to me to let me know of the price difference and they thought they could just take advantage of me. They tried to say it was my fault because I spoke to a few different people...because the salesman had a day off and I needed an answer on something. It's not my fault they all don't communicate and I should not be penalized for that. I know they waited until after they closed to finalize the deal because either I would be a fool and take it OR I would make it a bid deal and they didn't want other customers to see their true colors as a dealership. Another thing I didn't like is that they said the car has 133 miles on it but it may read more because they got the car cleaned and put gas in it...well then it should reflect those extra miles and not just a quick send-off. Before I left- without the car- I made them give me my $5000 deposit back. I also asked for all of the documents I signed so I could take them and shred them and they would not give them to me. I asked if I could watch them shred them then and I was told" No, nothing is official if you don't sign the bank documents". I don't know who they think they are but I have told everyone I know NOT to buy a car from them and I advise you to do the same.
