So they were advertising a 2005 VW Golf GLS TDI for sale. I went by the dealership on thursday afternoon to test drive it. They said it was in the body shop and we could run down the street to get it and drive it back to the dealership. We get down there and it had just had the bumpers primered to get it ready to paint. So they said they would have it by saturday and wrote me up a Purchase agreement so I could take back to USAA for my loan. The car was not available saturday like they said it wasn't available to see until monday at 4:45 in the afternoon. I then told them I had my financing done but wouldn't be able to come in until wednesday to complete the transaction for the car. Wednesday after noon I got a ride from a friend to drive me down there to pic up the car when I get a call from the salesman who was helping me that the car had been sold to someone else 20 mins ago. Tried to talk to the sales manager about the situation and he just blew me off and made it out to be my fault because I didn't buy it when it was completely wrapped in plastic sitting in a paint booth. Very poor professionalism by the sales manager and the way they handled the whole attempted sale and not honoring their purchase agreement. Definitely will never purchase a car from them in the future. I also lodged a complaint with USAA to have them removed as a certified dealer with them.

The level of knowledge about the car was awesome. I was given all the details and info which made it easier for me to think through my decision. I felt like David C did really want my business and to sell me the car but it was well balanced with wanting me to feel comfortable. Bottom line: my business mattered as much as my happiness.

Each individual we came in contact with was friendly, efficient and willing to answer any questions we had. I had called ahead of time to discuss terms and options because we were driving approx. 250 miles to get there. Jason Sharp was extremely helpful in organizing my trade and terms and giving directions to get us there. David Williams was exceptional with educating me on all the details of my new Tiguan. Silky (new employee) added extra support also. Jason in finance proved to be organized, efficient and kind while discussing my terms and filling out paperwork. Even though we did not get every person's name memorized, our experience was excellent. Each person treated my 80 year old Mother and myself with patience, kindness and respect. Top Notch! For starters I would like to say that I was in the market for a new car and the 2015 VW Jetta SE was on my short list. I really was hoping to buy from a local dealer in Casper, WY, but their selection was very sparse and they seemed very inflexible on price. In any event I traveled almost 300 miles to Littleton, CO for one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. It started with one of their internet salesmen, Frank, answering my emails in a timely manner, but at the same time not bombarding me with too much information. He quoted me a great price ($1500 less then the Casper dealer wanted, even after McDonald's higher DOC fee) based off the fact it was going to be a cash transaction, rather one involving a loan or lease through VW (some VW rebates may apply to the latter two). While at the dealership everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This started with them offing us something, as simple, as a bottle of cold water. In addition Frank did what he needed to do get me into a very nice Jetta, while not pushing me into something I could not afford or did not want at any price (zero dollars). He did a great job at answering my questions, even if it meant doing some research to provide me with the correct answer. Because of this I ended buying 10k/20k/30k service agreement that I can use at VW dealer including the one back home, but may just stop at McDonald for service when I am in Denver. As for other staff members including Josh the finance guy they did a great job offering additional products and services without being pushy after I nicely explained that the highly discounted extended warranty was not in my budget. Only complaint I might have, would be with the full website (not mobil), as sometimes loads slowly or incorrectly. I found their mobil website pulled up on my iPhone or the VW website to be a better choice for browsing their inventory. Other than that I just really can not say enough good things about my experience with McDonald VW and very highly recommend them for anyone in the market for a new VW. I also will consider them in future when I am looking to purchase my next new vehicle.

From the moment I called to ask questions, to the entire sales process with Tali Levin, everything was amazing. Tali was so engaged and passionate about us buying a car for our 16 year old for Christmas. Mike the manager helped create the experience with a free bow for the car and Jason the finance manager was the most upbeat and friendly. Most finance managers I have met are dry and cranky. The entire experience was very friendly and pleasant. There were no hiccups or issues, which was primarily driven by the intense focus on us, making sure we got the car we wanted and no work was spared to make sure it happened. I have been to McDonald in the past 5 years for four vehicles. Tim Green set the bar, and the culture and sales folks I have dealt with since, have been very friendly and professional. Tali Levin did not over commit, and she and the team moved me through the process as quickly as possible. 2 hours and out the door. I think an espresso/cappuccino bar and or a nice whiskey selection would have a line of customer out the door just to experience McDonald VW. Really i come back because of the people. I will be back. Get the Diesel Tiguan to market.
