Mercedes Benz of South Bay had the car my Wife wanted and my sales associate, Carlos Kim, was smart, capable, knowledgeable and friendly. He and the rest of the staff I interacted with did a great job. This was my second Mercedes bought from South Bay. I bought my first back in 2009.

Great people, but slow painful processes

Love our sale person (Karol), so helpful and knwledgeable and paitient. But it took us 4hrs plus from the time of making a purchase decision to walking out the door. It was all paperwork and waiting for people to become avaialble. For a cash purchase. Painful. Never expected an all day activity, without break for lunch or anything!

I am in Saudi Arabia and have bought my last 3 cars from the US and each time the process was smooth, straightforward, and pleasant. In recently bought a vehicle from Mercedes Benz of South Bay and the process was torturous. The process started with paying for the car, and sending my identification documents, and did just that and the acknowledged receipt of payment (US$253,450). Past that point and as far as they were concerned. Some guy who must be a caretaker or porter was replying to my questions on progress. He was sending me deadlines out of nowhere and one day before the so-called deadlines were due. How do I know he was the door man as far as I can know? He personally told me by WhatsApp “I am merely communicating what is being communicated to me.” And if that was not enough, and long after they had acknowledged receipt of car value, they were sending me emails to ask if I was interested in buying my car!! I twice received emails advertising my car for about US10,000, and later US$3000 less. I have much to say and it is all documented, and I only wrote my review based on a request.

Used car dealer not a Benz dealer!

Expect 0 knowledge, communication or service if buying out of state. Bought a car and the car was shipped without temporary registration or plates. Car has been sitting in the garage for a month with no resolution from the dealership and no response from the general manager. If you have no other work then buy my all means buy from them.

Horrible

I had a horrible experience at South Bay Mercedes. There wasn’t any customer service at all. I would would leave multiple messages for the finance department and didn’t get a callback until I spoke with a manager. When I finally received a callback from the finance manager she had a bad attitude. Overall my lease buyout took over a month to complete because of the slow service and lack of customer service I received.

The service here at the South Bay location is amazing the sale rep Hasan was able to accommodate me with the car I really wanted also the manager Kalan was very helpful I came over from the DTLA location and I will never go back to them for anything the South-bay location was very pleasing! I give them a 10 rating all across Mar in finance was such a lovely lady and made sure I purchased the right packages for my car. Please go to the South Bay location they will not disappoint you.
