getting the squeeze in orange

when we arrived for a scheduled test drive, my wife and i were never asked about what we wanted nor were we even given the standard vehicle walk-around. we were just sent on our own to test drive the car and when we returned to the dealership, there was no actual conversation. just had papers shoved at us, "this is how much we want you to pay." when we questioned the price, the response was, "well, what do you think you're gonna get?" the aggression, thickly coated in sneering condescension, was too much. they may have the inventory, but they seem to treat people like trash. drive the extra 20 minutes and go to puente hills mazda instead. we got the same car - '21 cx-5 carbon edition turbo/awd/black interior - at a lower price and a MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE car buying experience. really hard to believe they both sell the same cars, but in such stark contrast, from a customer service point of view. mazda of orange sucks. and since i'm here, don't go to browning mazda in cerritos, either. unless you're a fan of the old bait-and-switch and really need to see it in action. was reviewing one dealership and did three instead. sorry. by the way, this carbon is my 3rd mazda. had a miata and currently own a 2. zoom zoom, baby.

I located the model and color online. I obtained the dealer address online and drove there using the GPS on my iphone. When the GPS indicated "you have arrived at your destination," I looked and saw a Ford dealership. I kept driving because I didn't see a Mazda dealership. I drove back and forth several times and finally saw a small Mazda sign on the Ford dealership. It turns out that it is a combined Mazda/Ford dealership. It's not easy to see the Mazda sign when you drive by. A salesperson met me on the lot. We located the car and I made an offer to him. He went inside to present my offer. In a few minutes another person came up to me, shook my hand and said "we accept your offer." When they began the paperwork process, I let them know that I was pressed for time. They kindly expedited the process. Overall it was a pleasant easy, no hassle process. I would go back there if I were to purchase a another Mazda of a Ford.

Unethical business practice, poor delivery of car

We came to this dealership because of the Interest rate on the loan and asked them to verify it. We were told TWICE that they have the rate, but only to be told in a rude manner that the rate is not available for this model. We purchased the car anyway, only to have the car scratched and dirty upon delivery. Instead of enjoying the new car, I can only remember the experience I went through and associate this every time I'm driving it. What a regret.

I have purchased two vehicles from Mazda of Orange and each time my experience has been nothing but the best. Both times i have been assisted by Gabino and Nery. Both are very professional and make you feel like more than just a sale. I would define fly recommend them to any family and friends. Look no further than Mazda of Orange they are the best!

A different new car buying experience

The dealership was very clean and well lit. People were very helpful and friendly. The model I was interested in was in stock. The fact that your dealership was in a price program with COSTCO and no going back and forth about price was very nice. The visit the next day was a great service experience but I would have liked to have left the car for the service and then pick it up the next day. The financial part of the visit was a little long but an important one for you.

Mazda of Orange was able to get me exactly the car that I wanted, give me a fair price on it, and a fair price on my trade in. Kellie Kendall, the internet sales associate I worked with, was fantastic, and the entire purchase process at the dealer, including test drive, took about 2 hours. I am very pleased with the experience and will recommend the dealer.

Still waiting for payoff of trade in vehicle after 2 months

WARNING TO ALL Aug 2015 - Traded in our 2011 Chrysler Minivan for Mazda CX-9 @ Mazda of Orange Sep 29 - Received call from Minivan, why 18 days past due called M.o.O., talked to sales rep, she would check into it Sep 30 - Called again, left message. received call from Financing Dept.Told it had been misplaced and Payoff had been sent out overnight Oct 1-3 - Checked and found that no payoff had arrived. Oct 3rd - called Financing again, told it had not gone out at the time they said but approx 2 days later and that it should post on monday oct 5th. Oct 5th - wife called and checked. still no payoff. called Financing dept again. was given story that it had been the end of the month and things were blah blah blah...told it was going out with courier (GSO) and given a tracking number. Checked again in the evening, nothing. checked GSO website, nothing, spent 1 hr on phone with GSO, They said that nothing had been sent or even scheduled, for the next couple of days. Oct 6th - Checked again, still not posted. Now the account is showing 25 days past due, It is affecting a Home loan that we are trying to get, and it will show negative on OUR account in 5 more days. We should have kept our minivan, never bought from Mazda of Orange in the first place. Time to call in the lawyer to handle things. To Mazda of Orange - If you do not want to payoff the Minivan, then give it back to us and take your CX-9 back***

Gregory Vazquez was great about tracking down the color car I wanted (I might've been difficult on that point). He even brought one potential choice by my office which I thought went above and beyond the call. But it should be noted that Ben Franklin is the salesman that took us on the test drive and sold us on the car.

Fast, easy and fair! A 5-star internet sale manager named Julie Frisch - make sure you "ask" for her! Had my deal before walking in and I was out in less than 2-hour and that included a test drive (again) around the block for a final inspection, getting the additional accessories installed, car wash, fuel tank filled-up, a stack of financial paper work done with a wonderful guy named Bernard, and lastly, a vehicle equipment walk through with Julie Frisch before we drove home. Oh, and the first service will be on the house :-) Thank you, Mazda of Orange! You made internet car shopping a piece of cake :-).
