I just wish just the dealer overall pay attention to details like cover the car seats before they start to work & making sure the mechanics Don't leave fingers print every where inside of the car.

Use to be a better dealership

I use to say hello to everyone when I walked in the service dept as a friendly gesture and was greeted back. Now it is nothing like that. This dealership ALlen Gwynn has changed thru the years. I bought my truck here Sept 2017 and only go here for service. I wish there was a smaller Chevy dealer to go to that would help me with truck questions but they just dont have any in Southern Cal.

Work performed was fine, but customer service = meh...

This was my 1st time at Allen Gwynn. I pulled up to the service drive and waited by my truck for about 3-4 mins. I asked a service adviser (Michael) if I should wait or go in to get my service ticket started. As he was getting into another car and closing the door, he advised I stay by my car. Customer service was clearly not on his mind. I proceeded to wait for another 10 mins before another service adviser (Darwin) invited me in. He said standing by my car was not necessary and coming in would have been better. After that, my service experience was on par with other dealerships, however I was not pleased with my initial waiting time to be greeted and helped with my service needs.

Arlene Rosas is fantastic!

Arlene Rosas was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was extremely kind and courteous the entire time, especially when I was admittedly pressing her hard for explanations as to the reasons behind the seemingly unnecessary work recommended and the pricing which I felt was extremely high. She did an amazing job at still making me feel very important and a valued customer and she did everything possible to lower the price for me. My only recommendation for the dealership overall is that it should give its customers the best possible price from the very beginning and not wait for the customer to negotiate and bargain for a lower rate. The customer needs to trust the dealership in order to do business with it, especially on an on-going basis. My biggest issue was with the labor pricing and the amount of hours allocated to each line item, which seemed inflated, especially for my brake line item. But again, Arlene did a wonderful job at handling the entire situation and I HIGHLY commend her professionalism, courtesy, and utmost kindness throughout the entire process. She needs to be recognized for being such an outstanding part of your team. Thank you, Arlene, for being so great. Although my concerns about the inflated hours and labor cost is still there, knowing that I have someone like Arlene who will work with me and make sure I'm happy makes me want to be a repeat customer. I hope you will continue to offer me and my family wonderful customer service and the best pricing possible so that we may continue to come to the dealership without any hesitation. I must say that the work performed so far on my brakes seems fantastic. Thank you!!

Artin, the service manager at Allen Gwynn Chevy in Glendale CA is truly excellent. Very responsive and helpful. He even drove me in his own car to the Enterprise car rental as it was getting close to their closing time. All repairs were done efficiently and he communicated progress regularly.

I felt I was really taken well care of and treated like I was very important! The sales person and finance person really knew what they were talking about and gained my trust - not an easy thing to do these days!!! Top notch customer service - just an overall great experience and I left there a very happy customer!!

Allen Gwynn in Glendale

Part had to be ordered and wouldn't be in until following week. Before leaving I mentioned without the turbo boost you could really feel the difference when trying to merge. My service rep, Artine, said he didn't feel me driving my car until fixed was safe and he'd feel better knowing I had a replacement car until fixed. He arranged a loaner and called another dealer to get the part quicker. I really appreciated his concern and resolution.

When I first came to the service department I felt disrespected and not appropriately greeted, there was a young man on his phone whom just shined me on and stated while waving his hand non-shalant "someone will help you". At this point I was ready to leave. Before my departure I was kindly greeted by Mario, whom very quickly apologized for the inconvenience. Thereafter I have been treated like a movie star and I really appreciate the excellent customer service Mario has provided. He constantly keeps me updated on vehicles status and has gone the extra mile to help me through the process of servicing my vehicle at Allyn Gwynn Chevrolet. I expect my friends and family to receive the kind of customer service support that Mario provided. I am quite pleased with my experience l. If it was for the other guy I would have taken my business elsewhere.

Even before the renovations that upgraded the waiting area and enhanced the customer experience, I was happy to drive there for even a simple oil change (as opposed to the big-name chain just two streets down from home), because of the quality of the people that work there. From the start, years ago, I felt that Erick Cea was among the best people I've ever interacted with, both in terms of his professional knowledge and in terms of his demeanor as a human being. This experience was no different: I was able to relax while I waited, knowing that my car was in good hands, and I left with greater peace of mind, knowing that my car was in better shape than when I had brought it in earlier that day.
