I'm in Tri-Cities and I bought a Limited with VSC, 8-way passenger seat, 5-carpeted floor mats and 2 dealer installed items that they wouldn't remove (mud guards and wind deflector). I paid $33,150 which is around $600 over invoice or $3,800 under MSRP. That includes $660 destination charge and $440 "dealer advertising."

Hi. My first reaction was to not reply. Since nobody else did, here goes... Yes, any Toyota Dealer can sell them. That's your best bet, but other responses may be better advice, so hope you get some more. In the Seattle area we just had a TV news story 'Consumer Beware' type, about the cards you get in the mail about Extended Warranties. They pretty much said Run, don't walk, away from them. My personal opinion, for what it's worth, is pretty negative. If you are going to get one, get it from a Toyota dealership only. If you drive less than 30,000 miles a year, why bother? The reason to buy a Toyota is because you do not need an extended warranty. That is speaking for Me, not telling anyone else what to do. Last time in the finance office they didn't even bother with me, except to try to sell me prepaid oil changes, lumped along with I think the 5, 10, and 15,000 mile service for some $$$ amount. I always turn everything down. Toyota must keep notes. Every new purchase, they try less and less with me. My 2001 Camry had 60,000 miles on it when I sold it to my Sister (gave away, actually..) My 2001 Tacoma, little dinky base model, manual tranny, two speakers, etc., had 78,000 2005 Tacoma reg cab, 4 cyl auto tranny, base model, 4,000 miles and 2005 Tacoma extra cab SR5 4cyl auto tranny had 49,000 miles. All I had to do except oil change, air filter, was Tires, and took the '01 Camry in for an annoying glove box rattle. The only real work was a Toyota dealership found during an oil change that both rear shocks on the little '01 Tacoma were leaking. That was at 35,750 miles. I went to the dealership where I bought it, and they replaced them for free, under the 36,000 warranty. That's it!! I have a 2006 Sienna now, with 23,500 miles. Nothing but oil changes. One air filter which they didn't want to put on, but I insisted. No Brake jobs on Any of the vehicles. I did change the spark plugs on the Camry (super easy!) and drain/refill the coolant on the '01 Tacoma. Also easy! Warranties are for Mercedes, Rolls Royce, etc... in my negative opinion!

I don't have a lot of experience. From the Tacoma Forum a couple years ago, I got www.toyotapart.com It's a dealership in Michigan. The prices beat the dealers around here by 20% at least. Some over that. Second, and this from the Forums, and car magazines; weathertech.com or mats.com The mats on this last site look real nice, and they cover more carpet/floor area than OEM.

Six weeks ago I paid 23,700 0% for 60 Months for an '06 CE w/Pkg 1, rear spoiler, self-dimming rear view mirror, floor mats & door sill protecters. They gave me Kelley Blue Book "GOOD" condition price for my '05 Tacoma, 48,000 mi, without even looking at it. I didn't ask for a second quote, or try to get a hundred or two off. So, yes, $21,950 is pretty good for brand new Toyota with a 6 cylinder. It might be a good idea to wait until next Thanksgiving or so, and buy an '07 if they have any year-end deals. The new 3.5 engine, with the same mpg as the current motor, may be worth waiting for. Why didn't I wait? I did not know!!! I didn't plan to buy one of these. I rented an LE w/pkg 1 for a day, then researched prices, because I liked it so much. Didn't get in on any buzz going on about this vehicle. It's gonna work just fine, don't get me wrong. I'm a lightweight version of a car-guy; any car-guy will tell you to never pass up a significant power increase if your mpg (and I assume, emissions) remain the same.
2006 Sienna CE 7 Passenger

I really wasn't looking too hard, as I had an '05 Tacoma 4x2 Access Cab. It did have close to 50,000 miles. Drove all over heck in it. Quite a nice 4 cylinder! The 0% finance got me thinking, then I rented an LE last week for a day. I was really impressed. In the last few months I have rented (from a dealership 60 miles away)a Yaris Hatchback, the new 4cyl RAV 4, '07 Camry 4cyl LE, and a Scion TC. All were optioned out heavy, except the Scion. Anyway, I thought the Sienna was easily the nicest of the bunch. I was excited, and the guy at the rental counter said "I guess it's ok, if you have to drive a minivan". :) Ended up buying at another, much closer Dealership. Toyota of Puyallup. Just stopped by to compare a CE with the LE I drove last week. The deal they quickly offered, when factoring in my Trade, was just too good to pass up. I said, lets go for a spin! We have almost 9% Sales Tax here in the Seattle area, and they subtract the Trade-in from the New vehicle, and you only pay Tax on the difference. I got a 2006 CE with; Package #1 Carpeted Floor Mats/Sill Protectors Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror Rear Spoiler $23,700 and it showed that included $100 extra for the salesman. The rental lot is Rodland Toyota, Everett, WA. Sorry I didn't buy from you, it's wasn't personal. They have great prices on rentals, you just have to have Auto Insurance that includes Comp and Collision, and proof of same. Recommend it highly. So, I got a brand new Toyota with a V6 for 0%!!! Fold the third row down, remove the second row, grab a big mat and a sleeping bag, and I'm outa here!

My brother just picked up a 2006 Tacoma, 08/06 build date, 2wd reg cab base (i mean really base, just add a/c and floormats, crank windows bench seat) for $300 over invoice, $35 doc and $9 "lien release" fee (BS I know, but $9?) at Bob Bridge in Renton,WA. Their invoice appeared to be about $200 more than Edmunds, so call it $500 over if you want, but the final price was right at Edmunds TMV. Straight deal from start to finish, no games, soft sell on gap ins. and ext. warranty. 7:30pm to 9:00pm on Sunday night from drive in to drive out w/his first new truck.
