Awful service department
Written by 10/17/2011
onI'd heard great things about the sales department, so I decided to get my car serviced here.
I am new to town and my car is a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse that I bought in a different state.
First time I used this dealer the work was satisfactory and cost was reasonable, but it took about 3 hours for an oil change/tire rotation.
I did try to schedule an appt through their online service form the next time I needed work done and I could not get anyone to respond or call me back, so I went elsewhere.
Last month, I needed work done on my car (check engine light would not go off) so I called, set an appointment and showed up at the scheduled time, only to be told I had no appointment and I would have to come back later.
They were not friendly and acted as if this was my fault, because I didn't remember who I had spoke to when I scheduled the appointment.
This really peeved me, because I had taken the time to miss work, drive in, and be told I had no appointment when I had called a few days prior and set the appointment! Plus, after wasting my afternoon driving over there and doing this, I had to find another dealer, make a new appointment and guess what? Now my car is out of warranty by a few miles and I will have to pay for the work I need done.
I would not recommend their service to anyone.
