O'Donnell Honda

I have been using O'Donnell Honda for service and repair now for over 13 years. O'Donnell is the best dealership I have ever used for service of my 1995 Honda Accord EX-L, and 2008 Civic LX, and 2001 S2000. Their service far surpasses that of Ford and GMC dealerships that have serviced my Ford Explorer and Buick Regal. They are honest, have well trained mechanics, repair only what is needed (other garages tried to sell me unnecessary repairs that O'Donnell said were not needed yet), provide efficient same day service at a reasonable cost, answer all questions, give discounts, and resolve any issues without haggling. In 13 years I only had one service issue which was due to a disgruntled mechanic who was dismissed the next day. Even though the issue (missed oil change) was a minor part of the overall service, O'Donnell completely redid the entire service including valve adjustments at their expense. I was amazed at the several poor service ratings I read on this site. I think that they must have been one time users that had a "rare" bad experience and are not representative of the thousands of satisfied customers. That's why I decided to write this review from the viewpoint of someone who has used O'Donnell's service department regularly for over 13 years. I have bought new and used cars for over 45 years. On my cars when I was young I performed tune-ups, oil changes, brake repairs, manual clutch repair, pulled and replaced radiators, and pulled the head of my engine for milling, etc. So I appreciate and understand the work that mechanics do. No dealer is perfect in their repair service, but O'Donnell is one of the best. Also, great comfortable waiting room for quick oil changes with free coffee, newspaper and fruit plus TV.
