Buying a car from a Kia Car Dealer

GA Kia Car Consumer Discussions

Re: Kia Forte 2010 buyin prices [joontheduke] by igozoomzoom on Wed Aug 04 21:00:00 PDT 2010

You may have already made a purchase in the two weeks since you posted this, but I thought I'd respond just in case you hadn't sealed the deal yet.... Accoring to TrueCar.com, the Lowest Certified Price from a local dealer is $15,321 for an EX with A/T and no other options. That price includes the $1500 Cash Back incentive and $486 in 'Regional Ad Fees' but doesn't include tax, tag and title. 1072.47 (7% sales tax, Fulton County resident) plus $18.00 title fee and $3.00 GA warranty fee $16,414.47 plus tag fees The tag fee will vary depending on whether you have a current tag to transfer (from a trade-in, for example); if not, you will be required to pay the ad valorem tax based on your specific tax district within Fulton. (Milton and Sandy Springs have the lowest rate and the city of Atlanta is the highest). The total will be between $202.15 and $272.50.... So the total is between $16,600 and $16,700 OTD, pretty dang close to your $16,500 goal...and you may be able to haggle them down to your number!

EX Auto with no options MSRP (includes destination) = $17,690 Selling Price = $15,971 Doc Fees = $598 Sales Tax (7% Fulton County GA) = $1159.84 Title,Tags = $18.00 GA Warranty Protection Act = $3.00 Sub Total = $17,750.00 Rebates = Cash Bonus ($1,000) + Competitive Bonus ($500) came to -$1,500 OTD = $16,250 Not sure if it was a great deal, but based on shopping around Atlanta I think it was good/decent.

Re: Kia Soul Prices Paid and Buying Experience [kyfdx] by bkl1 on Sat Mar 20 14:28:18 PDT 2010

Hi Hubby and I bought a new Soul + last week at Kia Mall of Georgia near Atlanta. It came with the Audio upgrade package, the rear bumper applique, the floor mats, cargo tray and wheel locks. I talked to every dealer in the Athens/Atlanta area and even test drove a few and none would budge on the sticker price. Couldn't get any other dealer to come down below 17,800 for the bare bones + model even when we went in to test drive. The Mall of Georgia dealership came down over the phone, their sticker price was $17,655 and we paid $15,900 including tax and all fees for our new Kia. It was the only no hassle dealer we found. In fact it took us less time to buy our Soul and drive home, then to test drive and listen to the sales pitches at other Kia dealers. Absolutely love our Soul, still can't believe the great gas mileage and the blue tooth and audio controls on the steering wheel are awesome! It took us a while to contact each dealership and try and work out a deal, but we got one in our price range and are very happy with our Soul.

Re: Definite deals... the V6s are selling better. [1hhead] by leapfrog on Wed Feb 24 14:28:17 PST 2010

Also located in NW ATL and would appreciate suggestions on dealerships that are most flexible to deal on V6 EX 4X2 w/ premium package2?

FYI... the running boards (which I hate) are removeable and quite easy to remove. They just unbolt. I had the dealer remove them and I sold mine on ebay.
