Great service!

Painless experience

Inquired for pricing for a specific model via internet. They resonded in about one (1) day. I provided some specifics re: color and options and they responded quickly with a fair price. I visited dealer, nailed down a purchase price for the new car, worked out a fair trade in for my vehicle and deal was done. Entire process took about five (5) days with about three (3) hours of show room time included. Relatively painless with good outcome. Process worked well for me.

Great dealership, great sales associate

I looked at cars on the lot on a Sunday and went back to the dealership to test drive a few cars I was interested in. The minute I stepped on the lot a sales associate greeted me and asked if there was someone I wished to speak to, letting me know that if I had already spoken to a different sales associate he would have that sales associate assist me with test driving a car. In other words, he did not want to take a possible deal from someone who had previously assisted me. I let him know that he could help me, that I wanted to test drive a few cars. I drove a couple of cars and the sales associate was very helpful in answering my questions. I never felt pressured to buy a car. I found the dealership to be clean and all the people working at the dealership very friendly. My sales associate was knowledgable about the car I was interested in and gave me a ball park figure for my trade in and payment details. He was never pushy, always pleasant and made me feel that my business was important to him. He treated me better than I have experienced in the past at other car dealerships. He gave me a tour of the facility, he told me of all the nice perks provided by Taylor and introduced me to the General Manager. I am very happy with my experience at Taylor Auto Sales and with my sales person. My experience was very good. I am a former employee of a dealership and know what to expect during the sales experience and I feel they went over and beyond.

Go to Capital Hyundai in Columbia SC

Bought new. Windshield wipers we're never connected (I found this out the hard way). Flat tire a couple of weeks later, turns out they had patched it. I really question there new vehicle inspection. I really never felt safe in this car. Just traded it for a Volvo and broke even on everything!

Tree Sap Scared Me Away - And I Was Ready To Buy

I went to Taylor Hyundai to test drive a Sonata. I told the sales associate my desired color. He led me to a rear parking area that was bordered by some large oak trees. I was shocked to see that the car in my desired color was covered in sticky sap, bugs and other organic debris. I drove it anyway and loved the ride. It was washed and I took it to my wife to drive - she was impressed as well. After a couple of days of mulling things over and researching Hyundai, we called the salesman and told him we'd be in the next day to make the purchase. When we got there, our Sonata was again parked under those same trees that had previously dumped all that sap - with a fresh coat of goop. We left. The questions that I have to ask myself are: 1) How long was that car parked there? 2) Do all their cars spend time there? - because there were half a dozen new vehicles parked under those trees. 3)How much damage can tree sap do to paint and exposed rubber? 4)Why doesn't the sales staff park under the trees instead?

Review for Taylor Hyundai, Augusta, GA

I called to set up an appointment with one of the sales staff two days before visiting the dealership. When I got there, it was as if I had just walked onto the lot for the first time without an appointment. I told the salesperson exactly the price range and year range of vehicle I wanted to consider before my visit. He attempted to show me vehicles that were way out of my spectrum of affordability. To make it worse, I pointed out other vehicles on the lot that I felt were more suited for my budget, and he would not show them to me. I waited in this dealership for three hours, waiting for the bank's response for the vehicle he had me test drive. Of course, it was out of my price range. I had told this salesperson that it would be prior to that. To beat it all, he took his lunch break during this process instead of showing me other vehicles, which I had suggested in the first place. The experience was a waste of my valubale time. He finally did show me a vehicle that was in my price range, after three hours of waiting. When I attempted to negotiate a price, he would not even attempt to work with me or even talk about making a reasonable offer. The experience was a complete waste of my time. On the other hand, the finance manager was helpful, at least he was trying to get the numbers right for the vehicle that I was originally presented with. The finance mananger knew more about the lot's inventory and had more knowledge about cars in general than the sales associate did. In my opinion, do not visit this lot unless you are in the market for a brand new car. Anything below that will be a waste of your time as well.
