Just got a 2008 TL Type-S Best Experienced Ever!!

Hi guys!! Time to pay back!! I just got my 2008 TL Type-S over the Saturday. It is in Cabron Bronze Pearl with Ebony interior. I requested more than 10 quotes from all the dealers in Los Angeles area (far from Torrance South Bay to Tustin OC. Most of the quote I got back were about the same price and only few hundreds dollars difference. The best quote I got was from Metro Acura in Montclair and their price was $32,995 sales price and $36,063.78 out the door price. The OTD price also included $500 gift certificate card that can be applied to service for parts/accessories purchases at Metro Acura. However, I didn't get my car from Metro Acura because of the location. I ended up getting my car at Sierra Acura in Alhambra. They match the same sales price as Metro Acura but they do not offer any gift certificate card. They ended up offer me discount on the body kit (front, side, and read under spoiler kit) at discount cost and also the color match mud guards and wheel locks. The Internet/Fleet sales manager was very professional and nice. He walked me through all the functions of the car and aslo helped me setup my phone to sync with the car while waiting for all the paper works from the financial manager. I drove off the car from the dealer in less than 3 hours. Listed below is the break down of the prices. Sales Price ........................... $32,995 Body Kit .................................$1,000 (included installation and normally cost $1500 for parts and labor) Final Sales Price ....................$33,995 Sales Tax @ 8.25% ............... $2,809.13 Documentation Fee .................$55 Registration ............................$284 CA Tire Fee ............................$8.75 Out The Door .........................$37,151.88 included (body kit, color match mud guards and wheel locks) Oh!! Also, the production date of my car was on Jan, 2008. =)

I just purchased a 2008 Acura TL w/navi and the information gathered through this forum should helped quite a bit during the whole process. The car was bought at Metro Acura in Montclair, CA and the internet department there (especially Mario) was very professional and helpful. My price: 31,150 - car after TTL = 33,900 The price was about 150 bucks more than what I was offered at another dearlership, but Metro Acura threw in wheel locks, same color mudguard, trunk tray and fender trim.

Just got back from Metro Acura in Montclair, Ca. The lease deal is for $499.00 per month for 48 months with a downpayment of $3500.00. They say offer is good through July 5th. Is this a good deal? Please let me know. I've never leased a car before and the last car I bought was in 1992.

Took delivery of ssm/quartz/AT/non-nav from Metro Acura in Montclair. Tried very hard to get it for 25,500 as others have posted, but finally paid 25,700 including destination and "protection package", and got full KBB trade-in on a 96 Volvo. Salesmen were pleasant to deal with and very attentive. Thanks for all the messages on this site, otherwise I wouldn't have known where to start.

Metro Acura/Honda - Montclair, CA (So. Cal). Dealership very professional, knowledgeable of the product and most important - followed up by personally calling me after only 48 hours to make sure everything was just right. PS - the actual General Manager and Salesperson called me, not someone else who was not there during the sale and demonstration of the vehicle. Loved the experience and love the vehicle. What a change from my last vehicle!
