ATLANTA — The 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe starts at $115,195, including a $995 destination charge, with a dealership rollout set for the end of the year, Porsche Cars North America said on Tuesday.
The 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet starts at $127,095, including shipping.
The cars will debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
They will be “available in dealerships shortly thereafter,” wrote Dave Engelman, a Porsche Cars North America spokesman, in response to a query from Edmunds.
The 2015 Porsche Carrera 4 GTS Coupe starts at $121,895 and the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet starts at $133,795. Prices include shipping.
The 911 lineup now consists of 19 cars.
The four GTS models “bridge the gap between the 911 Carrera S and 911 GT3,” the automaker said in a statement.
The GTS is equipped with a six-cylinder “boxer” engine that delivers 430 horsepower with a top speed of 190 mph. The 911 GTS is available with rear- or all-wheel drive.
Standard equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, leather seats and a sport exhaust system.
The GTS models target the Audi R8, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and SRT Viper GTS.
Edmunds says: More aggressive than the standard 911 without going to the extremes of the GT3, the new GTS fills a gap in the lineup that should appeal to more hard-core Porsche fans.
