2023 Hyundai Santa Fe
I had a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL that was problem free for 3 years, gave it to a family member, decided to try a Tucson Limited. Had it for 3 months, nice enough car but I feel it had too many extreme features on it that might go wrong and some already did (less than 3k miles). I traded it for a 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL and I love it. It's got the space, the reliability, plenty of … safety, conveniences, storage, space and is comfortable. I am getting decent gas mileage (32mpg on the highway) for the size of the vehicle and it's brand new. I looked into a Honda CRV, and a Toyota Rav 4, they are still putting ridiculous "Dealer Fees/mark-ups" above MSRP on those and they have issues/problems/recalls of their own.I know they are changing up the Santa Fe design next year but I wanted this one because I'm familiar with this current design and know from my previous Santa Fe that it works great for me. I'm afraid that newer designed cars haven't worked out all the kinks yet. I shopped around but ended up going back to a similar Santa Fe like I had before because it is the best deal for the price, great incentives as well. Also, I like the way it drives and like the size. Some people complain about the acceleration on the base engine not being intense enough, but I think it has plenty of acceleration and better reliability than the Dual Clutch Transmission. I'm not taking it to a racetrack , I'm going to run errands, various appointments, driving from point A to B safely. It has plenty of power to get across a road or merge/pass on the freeway. It will cruise at higher speeds effortlessly. I love my Santa Fe, I do not regret my decision.
