Does not play well with others

Brian did an excellent job of keeping me updated with my Golf R after I brought it in several times to review or fix things after my accident in December 2021.
If I need repairs done that don’t require auto insurance involvement, I would most likely use Strong VW and my friend Brian in the future.
I seriously question the wisdom of the owners decision to not interact with insurance companies for repairs. This made my job as the victim of the accident three times more difficult. I had to work with the body shop, my insurance and Strong VW, and communicate between them because the owners of Strong VW have a policy not to work with insurance companies.
Hopefully I will not be in an accident any time soon, but if I do, I will not go to strong VW for the repair work.
