Dishonest, their tactics give car dealers a bad rap
Written by Mary on 01/11/2020
Wow, came in with a lay down deal, I did all the work, found the car online, a new 2019 that had been on their lot 355 days, shared details and pictures of my trade, we agreed to a price on my trade.. and after driving 9 hours, their sales manage nit picks my 10 year old car, which was in excellent condition and wants to reduce the agreed to price by 500 for a small scratch... ridiculous...And the GM and Sales Mgr where no where to be found after knowing we were unhappy. 2nd, the sales lady promised a full explanation of the new car's features and functions, but then disappeared, after waiting and waiting, we just left. Lastly... I wanted to payoff the car in full and she advised that I needed at make 4 payments and only then I pay it off, so dishonest, as I learned from the finance mgr I could payoff on day 1. Don't shop here! They did not earn my business. The only positive was the finance manager.

Dealer Response
I am sorry you did not have a good experience as that is never our intention. The root of the issue was all about the trade, and since the customer was out of state we have to rely on pictures and the customers word to determine a value. The customer sent pictures but you could not see the damage in the pictures. We had pictures of both sides of the rear bumper yet only 1 picture of the front which was taken from the drivers side of the car and the damage was to the passenger front side (ironic). When the customer was specifically asked, was there any "damage, dings, dents, scratches-and whats the condition of the tires and brakes". Her response was "It is a beauty...so hopefully I can get a good price". When the customer came in, there was a scrape on the passenger front bumper about 6 inches long and about a half inch high. this is the exact opposite of what she told us. When we asked her about it she said "Oh, I forgot about that". It is unfair for the customer to misrepresent their trade and then put in an unwarranted bad review. If it was reversed and there was a similar scrape on our car a customer would have expected the value of our car to drop, so why not theirs? When the customer was done with finance, the finance manager had the temp tag installed and asked if there was anything else he could help with. They did not, and left within 6 minutes of the temp tag being installed. She did not give us the ability to go over the car with her.
