Absolutely AWFUL

Been on the phone with this dealer for 2 days now. Finally both agreed on numbers, ran our credit, finished financing options, had paperwork and car all ready to go and they gave us the thumbs up to come get the car. We had to drive over 2 hours so we made sure everything was 100% before we left to pick up the car and sign paperwork. While we were on our way, We had received phone calls from 2 different managers and also the finance manager, all ensuring us everything was ready and all we had to do was sign. When we were about 30 minutes away, graham called to let us know that they couldn't sell us the car because they messed up and couldn't sell the car until the 15th because it was in a loaner status until the 15th. Also said he came in an hour and a half early this morning to work on this deal. But never once was this ever explained to us, it was never brought up about being an issue at all. He also said he spoke with the owner and said that he said they couldn't sell the car. Never once did he say they would do anything to make it right, didn't offer another car, NOTHING. JUST SORRY, we will not sell this car to you. I was very upset and expressed that to him. They had assured us over and over again that everything was done and ready to go. I then called the finance manager, Sam. He gave me a total different story and said that Graham had accidentally gave us the same factory incentive twice and that it didn't make business sense for them to sell us the car. I'm totally done with this dealership and don't recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the time and stress and go somewhere trustworthy and reliable.

I am the business owner and quite frankly I am horrified at your experience. Our Sales Manager was off this weekend and Graham was trying to cover for him. Graham had to go to the church for a practice for his son's baptism, and when he got back one of the Finance Managers had discovered that the vehicle had not been in loaner service for the 90 days that Honda requires and if we sold it before October 15th we would lose the $1000 Service Loaner incentive. On top of that, he didn't think Service Loaners qualified for the $1500 dealer cash, which was incorrect - they do - again, as long as we don't pull it from the Service Loaner program prematurely. What should have happened is we should have offered to put you in the car as a service loaner for 5 days, and then transferred it to you on the 15th, when Honda would allow us to sell it. All the paperwork could have been handled at the dealership Saturday. To make this right after the fact, we will be happy to bring the car to you in Jacksonville and handle everything like we should have done on Saturday - without your having to be inconvenienced any furthur. I am sorry for the way this was handled and I assure you this situation has been handled internally already this morning so that ALL of our managers are up to date on all incentives and can back each other up without this kind of fiasco ever occuring again.
