Dealership Service Review

1 out of 5 starsservice Rating
Extremely unsatisfied, time after time
Written by WRXWRXWRX on 01/23/2024
Straight forward - The "service" at the Keene Subaru is about as bad as it gets. I have owned/driven/worked on 6 Subaru's during my time as a licensed driver... mostly WRX's, but a Legacy, Forester and Ascent along the way. I've been to just about all of the Subaru dealerships in the Southern NH and Northeastern Mass area, and trust me, you are going to want to avoid Keene at all costs! We have had to take our car in about four or five times, to be repaired for a problem that could have been fixed the first visit. The techs continued to just replace each part that failed in the brakes, rather than replaced the ultimate root of the problem as we had asked. Because of this, the emergency brakes engaged on our vehicle, just recently after they (Subaru Keene) returned it to us, after making previous "repairs" while driving at a moderate speed, jolting the vehicle to a stop.... quite a traumatic experience with a car full of children. The Service Department preached that their techs are not trained to search for problems, but instead replace the failing ones. Penny Stone has been extremely condescending, even demeaning I would say, in the way that she has spoken to us at times throughout this process. The response she gave, after we expressed a concern for safety while driving the vehicle after these incidents of the brakes coming on unexpectedly, was sickening. It felt as if she was almost trying to shame us for feeling this way and having this concern... explaining to us how she would have no problem feeling safe driving the vehicle full of her children, after the "Techs" replaced this next part. I went out of my way to purchase my most recent Subaru from them, this last summer of 2023. I did this in order to work with a dealership that was conveniently close, as I currently have two newer model Subarus that require maintenance, etc. After this last visit, I am completely done with anything associated with the dealership. Thei workmanship and quality is subpar to say the least and the people are just rude. AVOID Fenton Keene Subaru AT ALL COSTS!
