Best service in the area

by Sankeerth on 06/26/2019

I think Euro Motorcars Devon is the best dealer for luxury cars in the area. I visited couple of other dealerships around and was not really happy in the way they dealt with my requests or with the offers. Bill Gallagher was the sales representative who helped us with my New car. He was very understanding and made sure that we were comfortable with the decision on the car. He helped us with advise on what we liked and if we actually needed some of those extra features or not. Finally, he made sure we have a deal in hand that we liked for a car we wanted.

Just bought brand new MB from Mike Vaccaro

by Matthew on 06/01/2019

I think Euro Motorcars Devon is the best MB dealer and best luxury car dealer in the area, mainly because of Mike Vaccaro. You should definitely ask for him when you visit. I visited many dealerships, including Audi, BMW, Porsche, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Subaru. I also went to 5 different Mercedes-Benz dealers. Mike Vaccaro was the best person to work with. He was extremely patient, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. He replies to emails very quickly. He is diligent. He is the consummate professional. He also is very honest and transparent which is important to me and you just don't get many car sales people who are so honest and transparent. He has almost a decade of experience and he is a true believer in the brand. It is always bizarre when your sales rep tells you he doesn't actually drive the car he's trying to sell you. It was nice that Mike actually drives the exact car I purchased. Mike was not just the most professional and courteous sales rep in my car shopping journey but certainly ranked among the most patient, polite, honest and transparent people I have dealt with ever. You can throw a dozen different things at him, and he'll figure out a way to deliver. You can push his buttons, and he will not lose his cool. Very cool, fun guy to work with. I look forward to buying my next MB from him! Regards, Matthew Young, MD, JD, CMQ, Esq.

Great place to buy

by JM on 05/08/2019

Everyone was great! Everyone we dealt with was helpful and pleasant and at the same time not pushy or pressuring. From the internet contact to the exceptionally helpful salesman Evan Kakos it was a great experience. The Showroom is lovely, not to mention the coffee and snacks.

Used Trade-in Purchased Developed Problems Day I Drove Away

by CSTsai on 01/31/2019

Bought a 2015 Volvo trade-in from them for $20K. They had me sign a Sold As Is declaration and statement that they did not pressure me into buying extended service contracts--but did not give me copies thereof. I declined to purchase their extended service contracts. << >> After I fully paid and drove away, a "Low battery charge" message appeared on the vehicle's monitor. I drove back to the dealership and was told NTW, that by time I drove the 220 mile trip home, the car should be fully charged. I was assured that they would not sell me a car with problems. << >> On drive home from dealership, made stop to buy some groceries. Tailgate would not open-vehicle monitor showed a fault message on the tailgate, along with a rear fog light fault message. The reverse lights also went out. I was able to reach home with these faults. << >> Next day charged battery--it was low--that 220+ mile trip did not fully charge the battery as the salesman had assured. Tailgate fault still present, and would not open via button on dash, remote or tailgate lever. All the other faults remained and in addition, rear wiper also failed. Then car would not lock, which I later found to be due to battery losing charge again. Problems all seem related. << >> Until the problems are fixed, I am afraid to use the car because I might get stuck, and can't park it anywhere since the doors may not lock again. At least at home I have my battery trickle charger. ( carry a jump charger--but that will only help with starting. << >> I am in process of contacting them for a resolution--I believe they should pay for the required repairs, being that such defect or defects are a pre-existing condition that has cascaded into a slew of seemingly related problems. Otherwise, they should take the car back and give me a full refund. The "low battery charge" issue was not disclosed and glossed over. I am quite confident that such was not a new issue that suddenly developed--the battery's positive terminal was badly corroded. Could be bad alternator too. I did a lot of online searches for problem ID and solutions. Volvo's are said to be very voltage sensitive. Some online posters said the tailgate was related to battery voltage. The other failures are unexplained, but coincident. << >> I would have to take it to a Volvo dealer to obtain the best expertise to repair. I would not be able to purchase a reasonably priced extended service contract before making repairs since such would be deemed a pre-existing condition. << >> Car may have been Sold As Is, but car was not adequately checked, and defects not disclosed--the car was presented as checked and problem free--I had asked that specific question--was it problem free (had alignment issue which I had asked them to correct--still not 100% right). << >> Am I SOL because I did not buy the Extended Service Contracts that was pushed, and signed the Sold As Is declaration? This is the type of experience one hears about of those buying used cars from sleazy used car dealers. I did not expect such from a seemingly reputable dealer, and a Mercedes-Benz dealer to boot. << >> Caveat Emptor, indeed. I will see how they resolve my matter and update my comment accordingly. At this point, I give them a 3-star rating. If they pay for the repairs to make me whole, or take back the car with refund, I will upgrade my rating and update my comment--or post a new review to update on the situation. << >>

Amazing Customer Service!!

by kmardinly on 11/06/2018

I could not be more happy with my experience at Mercedes-Benz of Devon! Joe DeCarolis was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and truly made the car buying experience enjoyable. He was very patient with me and took the time to show me my options. He answered all of my questions and most importantly, he was honest which I never felt at other dealers. I could tell he cared about building a relationship with his customers, not just a quick sale. I ended up ordering a car and I was on a bit of a time crunch as my current lease was coming to an end. Joe made sure that I had my car on time and had a great deal waiting for me when I got to the dealership. He continues to follow up with me and check how things are going. I absolutely love my car. My overall experience at the dealership and with Joe far exceeded my expectations and was truly amazing customer service. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to Joe!

Terrible experience - will never return again

by mikelee12345 on 08/30/2014

Saw Mr. D (I forget his first name, Joe, John, maybe) about a CPO and all I can say is his guy is pretty much a sleazy used car salesman. Tried to bully me into a price and was terribly rude about the process. to makes matter worse, he tried to rip me off $2,200 off my trade in and tried to guilt me into thinking his low-ball trade in offer was a good one. He pretty much tried every sleazy used car salesmen trick on me. He was also only $2K under the CPO price and wouldn't budge when I was able to get $3,200 under CPO at a different dealer. I ended up shopping around and bought my CPO at a competing MB dealer. I won't even take my car into Devon for service b/c this one salesman ruined Devon's reputation in my mind. Stay away from Devon and mostly this Dochardy salesman. Take your business to Fort Washington MB like I did. Night and day difference in sales experience.
