Kia Store East

A refreshing and positive change I found at Kia East in Louisville, while shopping for a car. For the most part, my cars have been domestic, and the last time I stopped at a Shively dealership, a staple there for 40 plus years, the experience was bad—a nightmare. It was time for a change. I had heard the rumors that Kia was establishing itself as building ever reputable vehicles, and that efficient sales and service staffs were manning growing dealerships around the country to back up the company’s claims. A trip to Kia East on Lagrange Road verified the rumors. The entire staff made for an outstanding effort at this dealership. Even though I purchased a basic vehicle, a Rio, I was amazed at the efficiency and courtesy received. The only problem presented was my own impatience, overlooking a detail, as I rushed the very tolerant sales agent, Rachel Collins, through her list of the car’s checks and balances. I made the incorrect assumption that buying a car is no different than buying a case of Pepsi--it is not. An overlooked ignition security item, again caused due to my haste, was quickly attended to and corrected by a sincerely warm hearted Rachel; I would recommend her efforts, from start to finish-- and beyond, by 100%. By the way, I have had the car for about a month and am quite delighted with it. Kia has built a study, fuel-efficient, and nimble operating vehicle in their Rio. It is a true bargain by any standard in today's' marketplace. Overall, out of a 5 star excellent rating in sales, service, and general dealership's concerns: Kia East easily deserves all five stars.
