onOverall, this was a bad experience, but certain aspects were pleasant. I test drove a Honda Accord with Eric S. He was very cordial and friendly. Not overly pushy, just upfront. Given my time constraints, I wanted to negotiate and purchase the car online over email.
Online, I dealt with Marty A. I received an excellent upfront price for the Honda Accord - almost $4,000 below invoice. Unfortunately, when I asked for the out the door price, it was littered with add-ons and extra fees claiming that they did all the paperwork to receive my plates and registration ( all the local Honda dealers do this FYI). The increase in price was almost $2000. In addition, they would not send me an official offer thru PDF file and insisted I come into the dealership. Then, I was told that their offer would still stand stood when my official offer from Performance Honda fell through because they stated that they were being dishonest. I felt that the online staff was very unaccommodating to my needs.
