Not honest about wait times and work loads of their shop

onI set up an appointment for 7:30 am (opening time). And was told on the phone it would only be a couple hours at most. Got there 5 minutes early to check in and was told again that it would only be a couple hours. 5 hours later I called to talk to the service dept and no one answered. The receptionist said they were swamped with customers. I was 5 minutes down the road so I decided to stop by and see what the status was on my car. I walked into an empty bay with 4 employees sitting around and a manager at his desk. No customer in site! I was told they haven’t even gotten to my car yet and that an appointment is just for checking in which apparently isn’t even necessary so I don’t know what the point of having one is. This place is poorly managed. If you are as backed up as this manager claimed from “cars we haven’t gotten to the day before” than be honest with your customer and tell them at the time you drop the car off. You aren’t the only Chrysler dealer around.
