Horrible experience

onBeware. Drove 3 hours to look at a used truck with a specific engine. Emailed ahead to confirm. Got there and the truck did not have the engine I wanted. The engine that the website, the vehicle sticker, and the confirmation said it had. Dealer could care less about the discrepancy ( I read another review like this about the dealership prior to going, so this may be a tactic they use, or maybe they were just two coincidences). I ended up purchasing the truck because it was a decent deal. During negotiations, while looking at numbers there were a lot of extra charges on there I did not want. One for instance was the "shadowmark" for $400. I said I did not want it. They said ok, took the paperwork back to make the changes and came back and said sorry, but we already shadowmarked it so you'll have to pay for it. Seemed odd since it was a used vehicle, so I'm not convinced the vehicle wasn't shadowmarked with the first buyer and charged me for it too. Can't say for sure but seemed shady. Regardless it seemed shady to do something that was optional without asking, then charge me for it. After agreeing to purchase the vehicle, I waited an hour and a half to go back and sign the paperwork. They only had one person doing paperwork apparently. Actually signing the paperwork was probably the most horrible experience. The lady handed me a stack of paperwork with highlights of where to sign. She didn't explain one paper to me. I read everything I'm going to sign, so I would have to read the papers then ask any questions I had. She seemed absolutely disgusted that I was actually reading the papers I was signing. Probably because there was another family waiting in the lobby to fill out there paperwork, as they waited probably an hour and a half. I got to a page that had information on it that was not the agreed upon deal. When I brought this up she said " go ahead and sign it, and we'll make the changes later". I said no, to which she again huffed and said fine and got sometime to look into the changes. It was changed and I signed it. When it came time to sell me the extended warranty she was utterly unprepared to answer any questions. The only paperwork she had available was for the most expensive option. I asked to see numbers on the other plan options and she printed out about 50 pages of numbers and gave it to me. I tried to ask questions but at this point I was done with this whole experience and just said I didn't want it. I finished signing and they were so quick to get me out of there that they forgot to take my down payment. They called me an hour later and I had to deal with this over the phone. 3 weeks after I purchased the vehicle I contacted the title and registration office in my area to ask what I needed to do to get it registered. They said you can't register it yet, the dealer didn't send us the paperwork. I called to figure out this issue, got transferred to 3 people who had no idea what I was talking about and I'm still waiting on an answer. I do live out of state so I'll chalk this one up to they just didn't know what to do with an out of state purchase. Do your homework on this dealership, read all the paperwork, and don't expect a lot. I gave the rating 2 stars overall because the salesperson I had was nice.
