Taking advantage of customers

on I took my truck in knowing that it had cracked heads but was instructed to take in by GM CUST SERVICE REP. I took the truck in told them what was wrong,they told confirmed that I was right and proceeded to charge me 150.00 for nothing. I asked them what they charged me for, and the service guy said for removing valve cover, but the funny thing is they never removed the valve cover, you couls see that they were never removed. I have been a mechanic for over 20 years I know what a bolt looks like after it has been touched with a tool, and the dirt and grime were still on the bolt heads. They just lost my business forever, and the funy thing is I was about to buy a new suburban from them, so I ended up buying one down the street. They lost commission off a car sale, and a customer for 150.00 not smart business. I have talked to a few people around town and they have had a bad experience with them also, so I am not the only one.
