had an appointment but received no service

onI made an appt for a Monday 8:30am drop off and it took nearly an hour to simply drop it off. By the end of the day, they never even looked at my car.
The following day I called at 10am to make sure it would be serviced and ready for pick up by closing time and they said they hadn't even looked at the car and couldn't make that promise. They offered a rental car instead, but the rental car was only available across the street from the dealership and I could not pick it up anywhere else. I don't live anywhere near that dealership. This is completely unacceptable; not having a car for two days and then picking it up un-serviced. I don't live near the dealership and shouldn't be offered an appointment when they are clearly not able to fulfill the service, which I received 5 (!!) email reminders for. I still have to get my car serviced, so I'll be looking to get it done elsewhere going forward.
