New 2013 RDX

onWas headed to the Lexus dealer and wanted to check out the Acura TL since recommended by Consumer Report.
Our salesman was Steve, the new guy.
The dealer does a good job of working together so in this case Darren helped out.
Unfortunately for us, the TL was not in red so black was our other choice, but my wife doesnt like back so nothing more we could do on the TL.
The RDX was there, in the color, and the sticker price was appealing so we took it for a spin and really liked it.
After the drive, I wasnt prepared for the negotiations for the RDX so we quickly did some Smart Phone research on consumer reviews, reliability, invoice pricing, and the financing.
Negotiations took about an hour between Steve, Darren, and Alex in the office, not too painful to save around $3k as they started off with a decent price discount, since I had a trade-in, they dinged me on that so I needed to play catch up on the purchase price which we split the different on quickly and agreed to purchase price.
Chris, finance guy wasnt pushy, we just listened to the alarm, warranty, etc. items he was selling and we declined and moved onto sign.
Actually, he was nice to work with considering the pain you normally would go thru with the finance guys.
Dealer folks were mannered, Steve while new, was great to work with, Darren had his back on our questions and training to set up the phones, etc.
Follow-up from Service happened as expected by JR so no issues there either.
Disappointments were pairing the Samsung Phone and since cars are getting so techy, really need to step up the customer training before drive off, we got 20 minutes, probably needed 1-2 hours and we are smart folks.
