Lack of attention to detail. Unsatisfactory BMW.

Pretty disappointed in my recent service. 2017 BMW 540i. Radiator leaking from both lower connections, required a new radiator. After finishing the service, I inspect the vehicle...zero coolant in the expansion reservoir, filled over the max in the primary reservoir AND the check engine light is illuminated. I drive the car right back in and spoke to the manager...they failed to reconnect the mass air flow sensor. They didn't bother to correctly fill the coolant so I took care of that on my own when I returned home. I expect better from BMW.

Beware Of Service

Going to have to give this BMW service location a whopping 1 stars. The old myth about service departments stereotyping and taking advantage of a what seems to be a clueless female is the daily practice here at Bmw of Fairfax. From the moment that service bay door comes rocking up like the speed of light, prepare yourself. All eyes on you, like a vulnerable baby deer in headlights of oncoming 495 morning traffic. You’re defeated! As expected the recommended and critical items will be explained in the attempt to persuade me into completing all work when coming in for a simple oil change. 3 hours later and “3 critical oil leaks” while my home garage shows no signs of leakage over the last 5 years, they still have the audacity to offer a $4,000 discounted price for the repairs. As if that wasn’t enough you still attempt the old “stripped drain bolt “ trick. Less then a mile down the road all tire pressure lights came on, over the next two days the tires continued loosing air. When all else fails they'll loosen your valve steams. Mike Walker's attitude; I'd compare it to a nuclear reactor! Keep it proactive not reactive boss! Remember every problem has a solution. Not the experience I was looking for.

Can’t say enough good things about BMW of Fairfax. Everyone works tirelessly at their highest level, and always responds to a customer needs, “very professional”. David my representative is the best, and has always made me feel welcomed. Lastly, I have never had any problems or attitude from BMW of Fairfax compared to Alexandria. Great experience, and our car feels new again.

2011 BMW 328I

I have been using BMW Fairfax for the service of my BMWs since 1995 with my recent visit being on 10/2/20. My service advisor, Frankie was absolutely fantastic to work with. She greeted me as soon as I drove into the service bay and reviewed my issues for the visit. She was professional, courteous and very efficient. After the service technician evaluated the car, Frankie called and reviewed in detail the issues and costs associated with the repairs. She is very familiar with the mechanics of the vehicle. I would highly recommend Fairfax BMW Service and Frankie!

Shea Lueder has been the best Service Manager I've worked with at BMW

Yes, I mean BMW as a whole, not just the Fairfax VA location. He's always taken good care of my car and been super supportive and flexible with me as well. My ex-husband and I have gone through numerous service managers, but Shea has been consistent in his support overall. Highly recommend!

Five stars - - excellent!

I am thrilled with the excellent service I recently received from BMW of Fairfax. I limped into the service lane on Saturday Aug 22 with an ominous rattle in the left front wheel. Master technician Robert Lolakas diagnosed the problem as a broken axle, explained it to me in depth, and executed a rapid difficult repair. My 15-year-old 325xi now runs like a new car, which makes both of us very happy. Kudos to Robert and the entire professional service team. A++

Fairfax BMW worked with me when in a very difficult position, stranded over 50 miles away with very few options to not just get myself ad Niece to safety but what to do with my care. Through the manager at BMW of Silver Spring (Joe), Shea Lueder was Johnny on the spot -- Shea quickly worked with Joe made space to ensure that my care could be assessed as soon as possible and got me a loaner. Shea was so supportive and within less than an hour, he was able to give me a diagnostic assessment and what work needed to be done. Whatever you do don't let Shea go -- he is the the BEST!!!!!

Tire and Service Issue

I had a message come up on my dashboard that a tire had low air. I was able to schedule a late afternoon Friday appointment same day. I arrived at 4 pm left by 5:45 pm. I was also able to address my pending maintenance scheduled for next month.
