Do not waste your time and money

I bought a 2022 Lexus NX350h from this dealership on 05/05/22. The financial manager Jimmy Zayad sold me a warranty called ECP plus for over 900$. I then realized that the warranty actually only cover damage by weather so I decided to cancel it. However the dealership told me that the warranty cannot be canceled once applied. I was not informed by the financial manager when I bought it and I just bought it within a week. I think this is FRAUD and I suggest you not doing any business with this dealership.

Feel betrayed....

I gave only star as I could not give zero or negative star rating. I bought 2011 RX350 from Pohanka Lexus on 12/10/2017. The Carfax Report showed clean record without any issue. Two weeks later, I got second Carfax Report pulled by another Dealership and to my surprise, the second Carfax Report is showing one accident that happened on 2/11/2017, ten months prior to my purchase. It also mentions in the report that "Carfax began reporting this information on 12/12/2017". When I contacted Pohanka Lexus, the Manager said when the vehicle was sold, the Carfax Report was clean, so I have to bear the burden of loss due to a ten-month prior accident. I have been asking them to take the car back as I do not want a vehicle with an accident. They refused. No fault on my part but I am stuck.

My wife and I purchased an LX 570 coming off lease from Pohanka Lexus and we worked with Ganbat Dorj. Ganbat is the most honest car salesman I have ever worked with and he's incredibly easy to work with. He never tried to pressure us at any point during the process and even dropped the car off at our house the day we bought it. Pohanka is the best dealership we've ever been to and the service has been phenomenal. We got free service for 24 months and I got a loaner when they changed the oil. These guys sell the most reliable cars on the road and they treat their customers well. If you're in the market for a new or used Lexus, contact Ganbat today!

Heavy sales tactics to make sale

Bought RX350. Heavy sales pressure tactics. After refusing their offer and leaving the showroom, kept getting calls at home. We were called back with assurance of more discount. Nothing happened, except pleading/forcing us to buy the car, because sales person had spent several hours with us. Never told that $1,500 discount given to us was in-lieu of 1.99% financing rate of car. Had to pay higher rate of interest. Salesman later told us we should have read fine print of financing online! During final visit, the sale manager said he is giving $995 delivery and document fee(this is besides their regular processing fee) credit. On final invoice at financing time, did not see the credit. We were told the Manager was just explaining a MSRP charge we had questioned! As a compromise, Sales manager offered free door edge guard, which were never given later. Sales man said he had given free oil change coupon, which in fact was given for other inconveniences to us. No proper coordination of deal between salesman and sales manager. After we took delivery, for some questions we tried to contact Sales person by text, email and phone.He contacted after two days only when we threatened with higher level complaint. He said he is very busy now! Yesterday sent email and phone message to Finance dept for a query. Still waiting to hear from them. They seem to have no time for prompt response now as car is already sold!! Caution: Be prepared for heavy sales pressure, though they advertise on the web site that this is a sales pressure free dealership!

Bait and- switch pricing

I was negotiating with many dealers in my search for a 2016 Lexus RC350. My results were narrowing to 2 or 3 when I finally call Pohanka Chantilly as they have one of the best deals for me. I was texting back and forth with Zack and his manager was there. Everything seemed okay until we starting discussing buying. Zack was offering good price via text but when I showed up price is change. Bait and- switch pricing. I waste my all day there. every price they offer over phone / text they won't cover in reality! I never deal with such bad dealership, they trapped me in offering $430 monthly over the phone, at the time I arrived the price jumped to $530. Do not ever go there!!!!

Normally, I dread going to the dealership for service because I always know that it will take all day and cost more than I would want to spend. Surprisingly, I took my car in for the routine maintenance and was very pleased with the exceptional customer service that I received from my service representative, Milton. He was very thorough and went over all my services with me in detail. I appreciate the great customer service!

My family has purchased numerous vehicles from Pohanka over the years. We've never had a bad experience. I just may my second Pohanka Lexus purchase and it could have been a better experience. Aba Cole was a wonderful sales consultant. He didn't pressure me into a vehicle, he always did what he said he was going to do, he had great product knowledge, and he did great post-sale follow up. Everyone at the dealer was very nice. I really trust these people!

Long story short . We drove up to the showroom @ 3pm Sunday afternoon. Had done the internet location thing and Pohanka had the 14 IS F-Sport in the color and option pkg we were looking for. We met Albert T. at the door , told him what we wanted, drove the car, told him our lease numbers. We told him that if we made the deal, we would drive the car home that day. We left Pohanka @ 4:30 in our brand new F-Sport. Albert was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. He showed us the car, answered our questions, and made the whole process as painless as possible. We just wish that they had some food to eat while we were waiting for F&I !!

Internet sale of used car. Price agreed upon. Funds overnighted with tracking number. Took extra day to get there. Raised price by $1000 in the meantime and sold the car to another party while my funds were in the mail. Didn't care plane ticket and hotel had already been paid for. Happy with having a F on www.bbb.org and continuing negative stigma of car dealers.

My wife and I recently leased our second IS250 from Pohanka. We met, by appointment, with Peter L. to help us through the process. The car was available in inventory and with a little number crunching we agreed to the deal. It was a pleasure working with Peter, he is Professional, knowledgeable and never pressured us for a decision. We felt he represented us well in working with management to close the deal.The car was spotless and presented in a timely manner. Enjoyable experience.

I dread car dealerships (and dealers)...period. However, my desire to have a new Lexus overcame my reluctance to brave the car shopping experience. I was welcomed warmly by Peter L. - he is the consummate professional. He immediately made me feel at ease and devoted his entire attention to ensuring my experience was top notch. I asked many questions and he never tired of answering them - he knew the answers immediately. I left the showroom that day feeling as if I had known Peter for years. In fact, there have been one or two questions that I have had over the past year since I bought the Lexus and I shot Peter an email. His response was always quick, concise and he seemed genuinely happy to hear from me...and happy to help. The Lexus is awesome - that speaks for itself (it's a Lexus). But if you are in search of THE BEST Sales Representative go to Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly and ask for Peter. You won't be disappointed.

I love, love, love Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly. This is the best dealership I have ever encountered and this is my second car I got from Pohanka Lexus. I am so glad that my service associate (Mike F.) recommended Peter L. I am so happy that I met Peter. Peter was very respectful, friendly, upfront, fair and patient with me. He listened to what I needed and wanted in a car & answered all my questions. Peter's one of the best assets Pohanka Lexus has! This dealership is doing something right. Everyone at Pohanka Lexus is very welcoming and respectful to anyone that walks in through their door. No pressure at all, just the best service. I just purchsed my 8th Lexus in 20 years from Pohanka Lexus. My long-time salesman, Mickey W., went out of his way to assure me that I was getting the best possible deal. The sales staff, including the Management, lead by Garry W., has been consistent for many years. That is unusual in an auto dealership and speaks volumes about Pohanka Lexus. I highly recommend Mickey and Pohanka Lexus.

My wife purchased her RX 400h in 2007 from PeterL. It was a great deal and continues to be an outstanding vehicle and dealership. I was in the market for a car myself recently and got quotes for a Chevy Volt and aToyota Prius, my 4th Prius in a row and 7th car from the same Toyota dealer/ salesman. Neither deal really excited me so we went to Peter just to see what he could do, I never saw myself in a Lexus. That said Peter worked hard and friendly on all aspects of the deal and I am now the proud owner of an ES 300h.Peter matched and beat new car price, trade in and was clearly interested in us as valued customers for the long term. My wife and I purchased a Lexus CT200h at Lexus Pohanka 30 days ago, where we had the pleasure of dealing with Peter L. In every respect, Peter went beyond the call of duty in making our purchasing decision pleasant and rewarding. From agreeing to the price we had in mind (arrived at by learning online at Edmunds.com what other buyers were actually paying for their cars), to explaining how to get the most out of the car, to finally sitting in the car with us and patiently explaining to us all of the car's many features, Peter's level of service was outstanding. Since purchasing the car, Peter has phoned several times to ask how we were faring with the new car and answer any questions we had. We won't hesitate to call on Peter the next time we are in the market for a new car.

Lack of people skills/attention to details

My salesman wasn't warm. I felt like he was nice to get the sell done and thats all. After I purchased the car and signed all the papers he didn't even take the time to explain how to operate inside of the new car or give me a introduction of the new car I've just purchased. After reading some of other complaints on here along with mine, my conclusion is Pohanka needs to take a look at these reviews and provide better customer service!!

We really were not looking to purchases a new vehicle, we meet DJ M. who was every professional and didn't try to pressure us in any way, we went back the next day & bought a new GX460 from DJ and love it. Great customer service!!
