Lies From Financial Manager

by yoyax35 on 08/16/2013

I started searching for a vehicle and few mths back. Had the first salesman to lie to me that he could get me the payments where I wanted them. I find out when it's time to sign he didn't. I walked away from that deal. So I left the Truck Farm. So a saleman two weeks later contacts me ask me to come back "if" I was still looking.(from Mitsubishi of Easley) So I did... I go and test drive the car I wanted to purchase. The Manage tells me drive another car and take it home it was a Saturday and keep it till Monday.... if you like it. I start the engine "the engine started rattling" I said no it's not for me. They never would tell me the price of any vehicle. There's never any paperwork visible on the vehicles. After back and fourth for about two weeks. I find another vehicle I like I test drive it. I do the paperwork on the car still asking what the cost is and never would tell me. I would get I will get back to you with that. I get a call asking me to come back to the dealership to finalize the documents and I get there I find out the car has been sold a few days ago. I find out that the Manger has lying to me about so many things concerning the deal. The upper management would never communicate with me when I asked to speak with them. I was never a difficult customer. I was very patient with them and they were still very unprofessional. I do not recommend this dealership. The young salesman was very professional but the upper management disrespectful and unprofessional

Avoid Easley Mitsubishi/Mitsubishi of Easley

by cwd986 on 06/11/2013

I bought what I thought was a new (read that undamaged and with factory paint) Mitsubishi Outlander Sport from this dealership only to find out that it had been damaged in transit and/or on their lot and had extensive bodywork performed prior to my purchase of it. None of this damage and/or paint work was disclosed at the time of sale. Complaints to Mitsubishi North America, the BBB, and the S.C. Dept. of Consumer Affairs got me nowhere. When I threatened to get the local TV station's consumer watchdog involved they finally agreed to give me that car I traded in back, but the whole deal cost me $2K and lots of time. Avoid these guys like the plague.

Bait and Switch Operation

by 6x6fan on 02/21/2012

I was browsing their online inventory and found a Ford F150 that I was very interested in. I called the dealership and asked if it was still in inventory, and was assured it was on the lot and ready for sale. I informed them I was on my way to see it. I drove 40 miles to the dealership and when I got there I did not see it on the dealers lot. The salesman said it is at out other lot, we can drive over there or I can bring it back here. I replied that I was told it was here, it was not. Salesman then drove over to the other lot and returned with a different truck then the one I asked for. I asked again where is the truck? They swore it was on the lot and it clearly was not. After walking back and forth the dealers small lot I noticed none of the cars there had any documentation on the windows, new or used! I thought new cars sold in SC had to have the manufactures statement posted on them? I asked where are the window stickers? He had not answer, right there I told him I was done and promptly left. I wasted 45 minutes of my time on this dealership. Skip this place and look elsewhere.

Deceitful and Fraudulent Personnel

by jlt86 on 05/08/2011

This dealership has absolutely made purchasing a new vehicle a nightmare. My experience with the salesman was mostly positive. He had a great personality, however did not know his product. He happened to stumble upon a vehicle that I found to be perfect for me, and I wanted it. After a couple of weeks of phone calls, he finally assured me that I was where I wanted to be (of course not stating the payment price in the voicemail), including the leather seats that were necessary (deal-breaker if not included). I returned the call, to say that I was on my way to sign the papers, and he stated that he would be waiting, assuring me that it was the vehicle I had test driven, for the price I requested, and with the installation of leather. While enroute to the dealership, he called back, to state that there was an error and that he could not get it to the payment requested. He was very polite, and it was clear that the decisions were not his. We requested to speak to that higher person, who had said YES, then said NO... but of course, that was not an option to speak with that unknown man. After multiple questions about our previous quotes in previous conversations, the salesman reported that it was pricing a base model, not the one that I had driven. It was clearly conveyed that there was no other option, other than the one that was test driven. The sales manager, unknown man, should have taken the time to explain why it was originally a done deal, then within 30 minutes no longer an option. I am very frustrated due to being lied to. It was awesome to receiving a voicemail message stating that the price was where I wanted it, on the vehicle I drove, with leather included. Then to be told that it was a mistake, after I had already started driving towards the dealership, floors me. I do not recommended this dealership to anyone. No vehicle is worth the hassle of dealing with the deceit, lies, trickery, and deceptive business tactics that they use.
