New Car Purchase

I had a 2004 Mazda 6 that came from Schwartz Mazda so I thought I would go back to them for my new car. I worked with George Hatalowich and the buying process was quite simple and with no pressure. I got a very good price on my new Mazda CX5 and LOVE IT!!! I did look at a couple of other vehicles but this car gave me the best bang for my buck. I would Highly recommend Schwartz and especially George H!!

Friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable staff, got an online price quote prior to going to the dealership, made and appointment and went in to finalize the numbers, after some negotiation on options, bought the car, left satisfied.

I'll start my review with the one and only positive of my Schwartz Mazda experience - if you don't want to feel pressured into buying a car THIS is the dealership for you! I went into the dealership approximately 3 weeks ago feeling completely elated about purchasing my first brand-new car ever. I went to Schwartz because I have lived in the area 40+ years and I like to shop local places....... I wanted either a Mazda 6 or 3, depending on the feel/drive. I explained to the salesman I was about to turn 50 and this is an early birthday present to myself. Due to my mothers death, I was able to pay for the car in full via a certified bank check. I did NOT want to finance or lease the car just buy one out right.... You would've thought I asked for the world!!!!!!! The salesman did tell me about the pre-certified cars and I said I wasn't interested....he persisted and I said "Let me test drive the new Mazda 3 and we will go from there". After taking all my information and disappearing into the back for about 45 min the salesman excitedly presented me with a 2015 pre-certified car to test drive that had 40,000 miles!! He knew fully well the Mazda Protege I'm trading in had less than 60,000 miles!?!?!? I sat in the car, hated it and said "not for me, let's try the new 3 and let me know the cash out the door price for it" Well, that got the floor manager and the online sales manager involved..... Even with a salesman and 2 managers somehow it's still impossible for them to formulate the price to buy a car out right. They kept telling me that I needed to finance in order to get the special online pricing they quoted on the car prior to my visit and would not discuss and or give me a price for a new car based on a cash out the door. I left their dealership after 2 1/2 hours totally deflated, having NEVER EVEN DRIVEN a new Mazda 6 or 3, without getting a price for a cash payment on either, nor did I get a offer on my trade-in even though two different people looked it over while we were there. When I got home I emailed the manager explaining my frustrating experience and was told they would honor their Internet pricing they gave me prior IF I FINANCED WITH THEM and gave me a price for my trade-in which is less than 1/2 of what THEIR online trade-in calculator said?!?!! When I asked for a breakdown of the financed pricing I was given a breakdown that was $200 more than the Internet price and he would not budge another $500 on the car trade-in value (still below what their online tool offered. So, I walked away over $700 and the fact that they were forcing me to finance the car! If you are thinking of a Mazda, I would NOT recommend Schwartz

Dishonest salesman and management. Made a deal by email. Confirmed price. When I got to the dealership to sign the papers they raised the price by $500.00. Wasted my time. I've bought my four previous vehicles via the internet. This is first time a Dealership has reneged. Stay away from these guys!

My wife had purchased a car from Schwartz many years ago and recommended that we look there again for me. Our salesperson, Mark helped us select the perfect car for our needs. Schwartz Mazda is an excellent dealership with an excellent staff. I specifically worked with Mark, Lane, Neil and Victor who went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and happy with the decision I made. They also went above and beyond to meet the budget I had. I will definitely be coming back to Schwartz in the future and strongly recommend that before you make a decision with another dealer that you go to Schwartz Mazda. They will make the car buying experience the way it should be: pleasant, enjoyable and exciting.

I recently leased a Mazda 3 from Schwartz Mazda. The entire experience was exceptional. My sales person, Tom Mauro, was knowledgeable, sincere and genuine and helped implement a deal that was fair. In addition to this when I met with the finance agent, Lane Griffin, he was able to guide me through the process with ease. Subsequent to leaving the dealership with my new Mazda 3 I received a number of thank you items from the dealership that were quite unexpected. The Schwartz Mazda dealership in my opinion rates very high in customer service. In this fast paced world it is nice to find, know and experience old fashioned "family" values. The Mazda 3 is an exceptional car and I love driving it! Thank you Schwartz Mazda, Tom Mauro, Lane Griffin!

I leased a car from Schwartz Mazda a few days ago and I was super pleased with the service that I received there! First, I went in kind of late and my salesperson, Mark, and manager, Pete, stuck it out the entire time. For that, I'm really grateful. Even the receptionist stayed (well, because Mark was her ride home). I couldn't stop thanking them for staying late and allowing me to go home with this awesome 2015 Mazda 3. Mark and Pete did a great job working with me so I could get this car. We went back and forth a handful of times, but at no point did I feel that they were being that typical schmoozy car salesman. They leveled with me and showed a lot of compassion. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They knew their stuff. They followed-up with me the following day to say they found something in my old car and I could come pick it up. They let me know if they had the insurance binder from my insurance company. They really kept me in the loop with things that were happening behind the scenes. Overall, I look forward to coming in again in 3 years to pick up another Mazda to lease! :)

I came in over the weekend to purchase a new mazda 6 since my old car was on its last legs and my brakes were shot. I walked into Schwartz and was greeted by Mark who listened to my needs and found the right car that fit my needs and budget. The negotiation only took a few minutes...Not like most dealers that play the whole back and forth game....If you are in the market for a new mazda please go to Schwartz and ask for mark you wont be disappointed.

After having a few stressful days going to different dealerships (Not Mazda) I was very reluctant to continue my search for the car of my dreams . I then made a phone call to Mazda in Shrewsbury NJ. A gentleman by the name of Neil answered all my questions and I set up a road test the following day. As I entered the show room I was greeted by very friendly staff and felt welcomed . Neil who was great introduce me to the salesman that I would be working with and that would be Tom Mauro. When I sat down I quoted the could and could nots. The dos and don'ts. He assured me to relax that he would make this easy and pleasurable,as we entered the inventory section an amazing Black Mazda3isport caught my eye It was love at first sight...after talking about many options about purchasing or leasing he proceeded very HARD might I add to make my dream come true as he handed me the keys I realize that dreams do come true with Tommy Mauro @ The Schwartz Mazda family and as I left he introduced me to all the staff and one of the owners came out personally He congratulated me that touched me . Given the fact this was my first car...ever, I was scared half to death about being totally taken advantage of and sold a car that I really didn't want. However, when I happen to meet Zachary Goldstein from schwartz Mazda, all of those preconceived notions about buying a car simply washed away!! I`m happy to say, that I was taken care of from start to finish - excellent customer service, great (and fair) price and not to mention THE COOLEST CAR on the LOT!!! Im currently driving a 2015 Mazda 3 STouring. Its the best on gas (41MPG), performance, and all the other people at school - are SO SO jealous (all thanks to Zachary and the whole crew at schwartz mazda). I`m about to get my first oil change and Im happy to say I know I will be taken care of with the utmost respect and fairness through the ownership of my vehicle. NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE there`s really no need - very satisfied customer!!!
