Do not care after the sale

I filed a report with the BBB. Expressway still refused to pay or fix the damages they caused. I would recommend finding a reputable dealer. This is my story. I called Expressway Toyota about a new car I had leased on March 2nd. On the 9th I had to go back up there because the license plate was not put on correctly and the bumper was damaged. I was told that they would replace the bumper and give me a rental. When I went back on March 19th the rental they had for me was damaged and smelt like Marijuanas inside. I was told that that is just the type of customers they have and sometimes the smell can’t be removed. They did end up giving me another car that was except-able. I was called on March 20th and told that the car was fixed. When I went to pick it up the car had greasy finger prints on it and was not fixed correctly. They took the car again and brought it back about an hour later stating it was now fixed. I told them I was dissatisfied and was going to call corporate. They said it was not their fault the car was not fixed because they gave it to a third party. I stated I wanted to be compensated for the milage on the lease. And wanted another Toyota dealership to inspect it so I could be sure the bumper was secured properly and was I indeed a Toyota bumper. I contacted Toyota customer care on Wednesday March 20th in regards to this issue with Executive Toyota. I was told that a district representative would contact me in 24 hours. I was not contacted till Friday the 22nd and it was buy Expressway. I told them I was not happy. They offered to detail the car and put gas in it. I stated that should have been done when I picked up the car. Expressway Toyota is 54 miles away. The lease is .15 a mile. I told them I want to be compensated for that and what ever distance it is to the company they sent it to for the repair. That makes it a minimum of 54 miles x 4 at .15 cents a mile. That is how many needless miles were added to that cars lease. I also had to put gas in the rental. A rental that I had to drive 108 miles just to drop off the car. Not like I got an added benefit out of it. I also had to waist many hours due to there negligence. They not only did the job wrong the first time but to not make it right on the first attempt. I was told on the 22nd that someone higher up would call me from Expressway and I haven’t heard back. I also contacted Toyota customer care again on the 22nd asking why the dealership was the one who contacted me and not a regional manager. I was told that the dealership is who calls and they should make it right. I told them I was not satisfied with Expressway and wanted to talk to someone else locally and wanted to have my car looked at by another dealership. I was told I would get a call in 24 hours. It has now been 5 days.

Exceptional Service

I do not enjoy the car buying process, but was in desperate need of a car. Prior to visiting Expressway, I had dealt with several other dealerships, but was left feeling, not only dissatisfied, but stressed out. After my local dealership retracted an offer that I had accepted, leaving me and their own salesperson in a difficult position, I became more disheartened and frustrated by the process. Although Expressway was farther from my home, I decided to give them a try. Expressway, not only far exceeded my expectations, but made right what another dealership had done so incredibly wrong! Additionally, Expressway turned the dreaded process of buying a car into a pleasurable experience. The knowledgeable and personable sales staff at Expressway went above and beyond to make the car buying process quick, hassle-free, and painless. It is clear to me from the exceptional service that I received from the sales team at Expressway, that they understand the value of making a personal connection with their customers, and that they seek, not only to earn their business, but their trust. Expressway earned both from me. I highly recommend this dealership.

Scam dealer

Let's start with the rate I'm pretty sure that most of feedback are family and friends for ppl who work there never mind,dont let the marketing words played you like first dealers in new England all dealers use the same words.Ignorance manager the only word that I heard from him was I'm the manager I'm the manager well good for you hope you know what you doing the management is not a position cool now let's go to Bob rich I sent him an email asking about 2017 he said that come with 0 Apr I said ok I'm coming to close the deal,when I was there two other ignorance run my credit check and they said this no 0apr on my 2017 ok but it's not my fault and don't run my credit unless we are all agreed they said they are same just take 2016, Mr owner you really need to hire someone who deserves and know how to solve problems not even one sorry about the mistake as they call it for me it's a scam to bring the customer in and then getvridebofb2016 MODEL the sales man did a mistake the mechanic gonna do a mistake by not checking my brake system and its nothing .mistakes happened.i don't why it's because I'm buying a car with the same amount they are making in year or what I'm gonna write my review anywhere,and for the manager please go back to school and study you need to learn more or you know what you can deliver pizza.

BAIT AND SWITCH

I put a 500 dollar "good faith' deposit down on a Used car. At the time of the deposit I was told "oh someone was in today to look at that car and did not buy it. This deposit will hold the car". I spoke to the dealer on the phone the day before driving the 2 hours round trip to check on the car and set up an appointment. I saw a missed call the am of the day I was going to see the car, no message was left. I CALLED BACK to find out the car was SOLD. They then stated they could help me find a car at the dealership. they had no similar cars in the inventory. BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH

Great Experience Buying Great Used Vehicle!

I don't usually have time to write reviews but my recent experience buying a 2010 Toyota 4Runner from Expressway Toyota was so exceptional that I think they deserve recognition. Joel Gordon, who worked with me from start to finish, was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I wanted and that made me feel 100% confident that I was getting the very best vehicle for my needs. Joel was willing to answer all my questions and there was no hard sell, no pressure and no stress. The vehicle had been advertised for quite a bit more than my budget allowed. When I told Joel, he asked me to name a price that would make me happy. I couldn't believe it when I did and he said "OK!" After purchasing the vehicle, I told Joel it would be hard for me to make the 260-mile round trip from my home in VT to Expressway Toyota in MA to pick up the vehicle. He got two of his young associates to drive it right to my door at no extra cost! They stayed long enough to show me all of the vehicle's special features and answer all my questions. Bottom line: I LOVE my 2010 Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition! It's by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I know I got it for a very good price and can honestly say that I have never had such a great experience buying a vehicle, new or used. I recommend Expressway Toyota and Joel Gordon to anyone looking for a great deal on a reliable pre-owned vehicle. These guys are doing it right!

A major problem with staff!

I went in to the dealership to check on the availbility of a Toyota. I have been exposed to numerous adds from the dealership, and thought I would see what they could do. I went in to the dealership, and no one seemed interested in talking to me. I approached two sales representatives and asked them if they had a Toyota Sienna SE? One of the salesmen was on his cellphone, and didn't seem very interested in my question. The other salesman was sitting down, looking very unenthusiastic and started to laugh, yes, laugh, when I asked about the Sienna. He said they didn't have the vehicle and they hadn't had one for 18 months. Well, Mr. I don't have the vehicle, I bought the exact vehicle you said was unavailable and unpopular from your competition at Woburn Toyota, and they were great! They treated me professionally and Dan and Jason are top-notch. These guys are the people you want to talk to. So, get off your chair, and help the folks that come in the door. People like me have valuable trades to offer and nine thousand dollars in cash in their pocket and ready to buy. What a shame to spend all that money on advertising and not be able to back it up. Human Resources should start to check the listings for those folks who are unemployed. I am sure they would have put the effort into selling me a car.

Best experience ever buying a truck. Love this place

I shopped for weeks, all over, to 3 different dealerships. Finally I got in touch with Joey in the internet department at Expressway(he asked me to post this review, I was more then happy). It was alot of hard work on both of our parts but in the end I got the best deal. The highest number on my trade in and I love my truck! Great Job Expressway! Also thank you to Dave Jaspon for being patient with me as well! Thanks guys!

Excellent

I bought a certified pre-owned 2008 Highlander from Joey in the internet department and everything went GREAT! From the very beginning I was given an abundance of information that allowed me to make an informed decision. I paid $20,000 for a Highlander that my bank assessed to be worth over $26,000. I can't believe how inexpensive This was. The process was so smooth and easy I really felt at ease. I feel like I should have worn a mask when I went there because I definitely robbed them. Prices are great, service is great, employees are educated and well mannered. Just looking at their website if you check their internet price and look up the book value on most of their cars they sell them really cheap. How is this even possible? I am sending my whole family to them. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

A+++ love this place

I had a very good experience at Expressway Toyota. I was unsure of whether or not I would purchase a new CR-V or a Rav4. Joey in the Internet department made my life very easy. It gave me extremely good information and backed everything he said up in emails with links to 3rd party review sites like car & driver and edmunds. Good or bad reviews he showed me all he could. This gave me a very good picture of the Rav4. When I talked to a guy at Honda he just kept pressuring me to go there in person. WHY? I need to do research! HELLO? While it did take me a couple weeks to decide the decision was clear, I wanted a 6 cyl Rav4. Next I shopped all the local dealers. Although I did find that they were all close in price, Joey managed to top the lowest offer for me and we made a deal. I LOVE my Rav4. It's amazing on gas, powerful, and great for my kids. This place really has it's act together across the whole sales department. 5 stars

Long waits and rude managers

I went in to look at a Nissan Sentra, decided I wanted to buy it. The process began smoothly but i was never given the complete price of the car. I was told that the price would be worked out later in finance. Take 6 hours later i was told that the price online was the actual taken down price and the real price was much higher. The woman in finance was very rude, actually throwing my credit card on the desk after I told her to reimburse my down payment and don't even get me started with the "manager" of the place. I would look else where if your looking for a car, it will save you time and sanity.

Pre-Owned Corvette

I bought an excellent pre-owned Corvette from Expressway and am exceptionally pleased with the car, my experience at the dealership, and the ease of the sales transaction, which was an out-of-state sale and a bit more complicated. Bill Benjamin, Expressway's General Sales Manager, was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. It was well worth my almost 200 mile drive to see, test drive, and then buy this car.

Great buying experience

This purchase was made via eBay, and was the first time I had bought such an expensive item there. I frankly made a few mistakes, including the wrong car when committing to buy, but Bill Benjamin was very understanding and helpful. He straightened out all of the details, and I got exactly what I wanted at a very fair price. There were several custom settings regarding various operating parameters of the Prius that I requested which were handled by the service department perfectly. There were also some non-stock options that did not originally come with the car, such as body side moldings, that Bill arranged to have located and installed. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Great Deal On 09 Corolla

Love my buying expereince at this dealership. Because my salesperson did not rush me into buying anything from the first time i stepped on to the lot till the time i really went into buying my car. I can say i probably went here back in February and told him im not ready to buy just yet. Just looking at all my options. he ask for my information but never called and ask when will i be coming in to buy. I end up calling to ask for more information. and when i was ready is when he was ready for me to buy. Got my car the same day i made the deal.

BAD, BAD

Made a written purchase agreement on a Thursday afternoon for an 08 Avalon Touring 30 miles away. Delivery to occur on following Monday because of weather. No problem with my credit, money or anything else on my end of bargain. Dealer wanted me to replace good personal check with cashier's check for 8,500.00. Did not deliver car until following Friday, 8 days later. Accepted cashiers check but did not return personal check. Submitted personal check for payment. Lucky my bank caught the double payment. Owners have clown advertising campaign wearing superman suits and characterizing neighboring Toyota dealers as "evil megadealers". I buy a lot of cars and have never encountered an outfit like this. Operation had no end of excuses for everything - inventory in other lot
