Car Buying Done Right!

I have been buying cars for a long time. This was my 8th vehicle and I am only 31. I have dealt with a lot of the normal dealership runaround and this did not feel like that at all. The sales team was willing to work with me and help me get to the number I needed to be at as best they could. where other dealerships were stubborn because they know in this market they can afford to be Diamond wasn't. In fact even though they did not have the exact vehicle I wanted and could have easily just let me walk away Ricky my salesman went out of his way to find the exact one I wanted. This is my first time buying a GM vehicle and I am so glad I found it here. Shout out to Ricky the salesman, Jason and Tony in finance, and Mike the owner for being absolute class acts!

I have to give my man John Miraglia a shout-out because he provided me with the best car buying experience I've ever had, and he deserves recognition. I don't typically like salesmen and I often find it hard to trust them. This wasn't the case with John. Right away John will make you feel at home and at ease, and you can tell that what makes him happy is seeing you walk out of there a happy customer. He's kind, easy to talk to, and will have you looking forward to every visit. During the time John worked with me to find the car I wanted, he went above and beyond what I ever expected him to do. Not only did he show me that I could be setting my sights higher, but he took care of every roadblock with a snap of his fingers, and made sure I drove off in exactly the right car for me. John made this experience so easy on me and I could never thank him enough for all he's done!

disorganized, very disorganized

This buying experience started out good. I just purchased a 2018 GMC Acadia from this dealership in July 2019. I went in there knowing exactly what I wanted and what I wanted my payment to be. At first, Butch Latino was great to work with, We test drove the car, he was easy to talk to and did not pressure me. We went back to the dealership to talk numbers and Butch worked really hard with "Peter" I think was his name and came back 3-4 times. They assured me in this meeting with $2000 down, I could get leather seats put in which was very important to me. I left that day not buying the car to think about the numbers. A few days later, my husband and I went back to the dealership and test drove the car again. We talked numbers and eventually came up with a deal. I went to the bank that day and brought the check back. However, the financing dept was so disorganized. They messed up the sales tax so I had to go back and sign (again) and then we had a disagreement over the numbers and to get the leather seats, I needed to pay another $1000. This was not part of the original deal. When we went to pick up the car, Butch informed us that the car needed gas but that he does not feel comfortable without the buyer there so we all had to go in the car to get gas. He did not even fill the tank up! We get back to the dealership and there was only one key fob given. We asked Butch to get us a new one. He eventually did but we had to call him several times for him to stay on it. It finally came in after three weeks (though we called service and though Butch said he ordered it---it was not in the system.) So we had to call Butch yet again...I made an appt at service for 2:30 a few days later. We got to service to get the key fob programmed and they did not have the key fob...I was in the waiting room and saw Butch walk by and flagged him down...finally the key fob was found and an hour later, I had it. I love the car but the dealership was disorganized with us from start to finish and that was frustrating.

I was in the market to purchase a vehicle on my first visit to the dealer ship the sales rep was very friendly and assured me that they would be able to help me find the vehicle and terms I was looking for. The first car I drove was already sold so don't know why he had me test drive it. After test driving several cars he introduced me to his manager who sat down to go over my options with me. He told me he wanted to but me into a new vehicle instead of the used ones I was looking for. The new vehicles that I would be interested in where way more than I wanted to spend and the payment he was suggesting was way more than I had told them I original wanted. He asked me if I could get a co-signer so I could get a better rate which I told him I could. So after 3 days of trying to find the right vehicle the one I was interested in was in the shop and I was told they couldn't fined the problem so they were not going to retail the vehicle. I was told by the sales rep that they had 2 other vehicles on a different lot miles away but was in the price range and payment range I wanted. I made an appointment with him for my co-signer to come in so we could get approved. I went to the dealership with my co-signer and was told by the sales rep that he would be right with us because he took another customer before we got there and assured me that he would be with me soon. About 1/2 hour later he came over and told me his manger was going to take care of us when he got back from Dunkin Donuts and asked if we would like anything from there. After an hour the manager came back from Dunkin Donuts and came over to us. I introduced him to my co-signer and he looked at me and said I am sorry but I don't remember you! Let me call your sales rep so I can get the right paper work. After another 15 minutes he came back over brought us to a desk and said I guess we are back to the beginning! I was shocked and explain to him I was told there were 2 vehicles in a different lot he said no there aren't and left to call the sales rep again. In the mean time the sales rep came back and wanted me to test drive a different vehicle I was not interested in buying and was offend when my co-borrower told him that we have been here well over an hour an nothing had been accomplished he told the co-borrower that he has spent a lot of time with me and to give him a break. We left being assured he would contact me as soon as the vehicles came in. I reached out to him on several occasions and he has not gotten back to me. I have since purchased a vehicle from a different dealer. I deal with customer service and was quit shocked on how I was treated.

GMC Sierra

Rob was excellent. It was refreshing to have someone Who knew their product and have the ability to tell us what we needed to know. We will recommend our family to go see Rob Sullivan any day. We love our truck and Rob worked extra hard to make sure we got what we wanted. We visited the dealership because we were driving by on a Saturday and took delivery the following Thursday. It was a very easy, STRESS FREE process. I could go on and on....

Excellent Dealership, worth the ride from Connecticut

I would like to start with that I'm not easily impressed. From when I first walked in and was greeted properly I was like wow. The sales person Austin Bond went above and beyond his call as a sales agent. He impressed me by the way he treated my family and especially my children. My youngest son is autistic and can be a little impatient. Austin offered them and cooked them hot pocket, Mike gave them cookies and popcorn. That helped keep them settle. Since we decided to buy and the process does takes longer, we didn't anticipate that it would take that long. I was taken back, because I have bought from other dealers and never received this type of treatment. He was attentive and not a pushy salesman. He knew when to sneak in topics to push the sale without making me feel he was being pushy. I hate pushy salesmen, he had the perfect balance. I have been to a dealer where I walked out after the sales guy told me straight out if I was going to buy or not, because he had already spent a lot of time on me. Not a good thing to say to a person who is about to spend a lot of money. Austin was the total opposite and it paid off. Due to his demeanor and making my family feel like family, that meant a lot to me and he just earned a client forever. Everyone I dealt with at Diamond was excellent, lot of team work and great to see that. You have a great thing going, please don't change. I have been telling everyone about my experience at Diamond. So far no complaints........

Diamond is for us!

Our salesman Gean was wonderful. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy. After finding out we were only getting 1 key fob for our new car we were upset and he took care of us by asking for another one. This made us happy. After only having the car 10 days we started to have problems with it. Of course it was on a rainy day my husband drove it directly to the dealership and Gean helped him out right away. The dealership is very professional and when thinking of purchasing a new car Diamond will be our first choice.

Very slow process

The problem I encounted was I called my sales person @ 10:15am and told him I would be there around 1pm. to close the deal, (arrived @ 1:10pm). I waited almost 2 1/2 hours (3:30 now) to get into see the finance person. After that the truck was not even washed or detailed. I did not leave there until after 5:00pm. Moe my sales person was very helpful during the process.

vehicle purchase

The purchase of the vehicle I dealt with Jim Ward and Kevin Reilly went smooth on the first evening. I was told I needed to return the following day to go over paperwork regarding the financing due to the fact it was getting close to closing time. I was told it would be a quick trip in and out BUT this did not go that way. I waited over an hour to get into office to go over paperwork , meanwhile my name was written on the office glass and other people were going in to resolve their paperwork bypassing my name. When Jim Ward walked passed me and saw I was still sitting there he became concerned and checked as to why I was not tended to as of yet. At this point I became very heated up when I saw people walking back and forth between two offices looking for my paperwork. I then spoke up and told them I was not happy and would like my deposit back from the night before. As I was sitting in office of Derek Difederico I had to wait for many forms to be printed out as I thought this should have been done already. Ultimately paperwork was resolved and I was given no reason why the long wait had to happen. If a reason is found as to this issue I would greatly appreciate a call to let me know what is was. I recently shopped at many dealers for a new truck. Not having a preference of the make when I started, I found the Chevy Silverado offered the best ride and comfort for my money. I also found your sales department to be the best as well. I worked with Robert Sullivan and few other of your sales team and not once did I feel the "high pressure sales pitch" that I felt at other dealerships.
